"Blog Y2 593 - Trusting God's Name Alone"

May He grant you according to your heart’s desire,  and fulfill all your purpose. Psalms 20:4.

Whenever we meditate on this verse, our hearts are drawn to verse 7 of the same chapter. Yes, God fulfills the petitions of His anointed ones because they always boast in the name of the Lord our God: “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God.” Psalms 20:7.

While the people of the world place their trust in wealth, power, and their own fame, the anointed and godly ones lift up only the name of the Lord. They continually say, “Let Your will be done, O Lord,” and their desires are always aligned with God’s will. When God’s will and their will go together, there is complete assurance that God will fulfill their desires and accomplish all their purposes. 

If we dedicate our lives fully to the Lord, if we lift up and honor only His name, then we have no need to worry about anything. Our faithful God will take care of all that we need, according to His perfect will. Psalm 37:4 says: "Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart."

Reflection: Am I placing my confidence in God’s name above everything else, making sure my desires are shaped by His will and not influenced by the world’s values or pride?

அவர் உமது மனவிருப்பத்தின்படி உமக்குத் தந்தருளி, உமது ஆலோசனைகளையெல்லாம் நிறைவேற்றுவாராக. சங்கீதம் 20:4.

நாம் இந்த வசனத்தைத் தியானிக்கும்போதெல்லாம், நம் இருதயங்கள் அதே அதிகாரத்தின் 7-ம் வசனத்தை நோக்கி ஈர்க்கப்படுகின்றன. ஆம், தேவன் அபிஷேகம் பண்ணப்பட்டவர்களின் வேண்டுதல்களை நிறைவேற்றுகிறார், ஏனென்றால் அவர்கள் எப்போதும் நம் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தையே மேன்மைப்படுத்துகிறார்கள்: “சிலர் இரதங்களைக்குறித்தும், சிலர் குதிரைகளைக்குறித்தும் மேன்மைபாராட்டுகிறார்கள்; நாங்களோ எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தைக்குறித்தே மேன்மைபாராட்டுவோம்.” சங்கீதம் 20:7.

உலகின் மக்கள், செல்வம், அதிகாரம் மற்றும் தங்கள் சொந்தப் புகழை நம்பியிருக்கும்போது, அபிஷேகம் பண்ணப்பட்டவர்களும் தேவபக்தியுள்ளவர்களும் கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தை மட்டுமே உயர்த்துகிறார்கள். அவர்கள் தொடர்ந்து, "உம்முடைய சித்தம் செய்யப்படுவதாக, கர்த்தாவே" என்று சொல்கிறார்கள், மேலும் அவர்களுடைய ஆசைகள் எப்போதும் தேவனுடைய சித்தத்தோடு ஒத்துப்போகின்றன. தேவனுடைய சித்தமும் அவர்களுடைய சித்தமும் ஒன்றாகச் செல்லும்போது, தேவன் அவர்களுடைய ஆசைகளை நிறைவேற்றுவார், அவர்களுடைய நோக்கங்கள் அனைத்தையும் முடிக்க கிருபை செய்வார் என்பதில் முழுமையான நிச்சயம் உண்டு.

நாம் நம் வாழ்க்கையை முழுமையாகக் கர்த்தருக்கு அர்ப்பணித்தால், நாம் அவருடைய நாமத்தை மட்டுமே உயர்த்தி கனம்பண்ணினால், நாம் எதைப் பற்றியும் கவலைப்படத் தேவையில்லை. நம்முடைய உண்மையுள்ள தேவன் நம் தேவைகள் அனைத்தையும், அவருடைய பரிபூரண சித்தத்தின்படி கவனித்துக்கொள்வார். சங்கீதம் 37:4 சொல்லுகிறது: “கர்த்தரிடத்தில் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாயிரு; அவர் உன் இருதயத்தின் வேண்டுதல்களை உனக்கு அருள்செய்வார்.”

சிந்திக்க: நான் என்னுடைய நம்பிக்கையை எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் மேலாக தேவனுடைய நாமத்தின்மேல் வைத்து, உலகத்தின் மதிப்புகள் அல்லது பெருமையால் பாதிக்கப்படாமல், என்னுடைய ஆசைகள் அவருடைய சித்தத்தால் வடிவமைக்கப்படுவதை உறுதிசெய்கிறேனா?
