"Blog Y2 613 - Peace in His Presence"

Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all. 2 Thessalonians ‭3:16.

Yes! Our God is truly the God of peace. He alone can give everlasting peace to our hearts. Peace is not merely the absence of noise or trouble; it is the presence of God amidst the storm.

Even when everything around us feels chaotic and unstable, if we carry the presence of the Almighty in our hearts, His peace will anchor us. When Jesus was traveling with His disciples, the sea became wild and uncontrollable. But our Lord stood up and spoke to the storm: “Peace, be still.” In an instant, everything came under His authority.

In the same way, when God is in the boat of our lives, no matter how turbulent our situation may be, He is able to calm the storm. He is the God of peace, our source of unshakable calm in the midst of chaos. John 14:27 says:  “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

Reflection: Am I allowing God’s presence to calm the storms in my life, trusting Him to bring unshakable peace even when everything around me feels unstable and chaotic?

சமாதானத்தின் கர்த்தர்தாமே எப்பொழுதும் சகலவிதத்திலும் உங்களுக்குச் சமாதானத்தைத் தந்தருளுவாராக. கர்த்தர் உங்களனைவரோடுங்கூட இருப்பாராக. 2 தெசலோ. 3:16.

ஆம்! நம்முடைய தேவன் உண்மையாகவே சமாதானத்தின் தேவன். அவர் ஒருவரே நம் இருதயங்களுக்கு நித்திய சமாதானத்தை கொடுக்க முடியும். சமாதானம் என்பது வெறுமனே இரைச்சலோ அல்லது தொந்தரவோ இல்லாத நிலை அல்ல; அது புயலின் நடுவிலும் தேவ பிரசன்னம் இருப்பதாகும்.

நம்மைச் சுற்றியுள்ள அனைத்தும் குழப்பமாகவும் நிலையற்றதாகவும் உணர்ந்தாலும், சர்வவல்லமையுள்ளவரின் பிரசன்னத்தை நம் இருதயங்களில் நாம் கொண்டிருந்தால், அவருடைய சமாதானம் நம்மை நிலைநிறுத்தும். இயேசு தம் சீஷர்களுடன் பயணம் செய்துகொண்டிருந்தபோது, கடல் சீறி கட்டுக்கடங்காமல் போனது. ஆனால் நம் கர்த்தர் எழுந்து புயலைப் பார்த்து: "இரையாதே, அமைதலாயிரு" என்று சொன்னார். உடனடியாக, எல்லாம் அவருடைய அதிகாரத்தின் கீழ் வந்தது.

அதேபோல், நம்முடைய வாழ்க்கைப் படகில் தேவன் இருக்கும்போது, நம்முடைய சூழ்நிலை எவ்வளவு கொந்தளிப்பாக இருந்தாலும், அவரால் சூழ்நிலைகளை அமைதிப்படுத்த முடியும். அவர் சமாதானத்தின் தேவன், குழப்பத்தின் மத்தியிலும் நம்முடைய அசைக்க முடியாத அமைதியின் ஆதாரம் அவரே. யோவான் 14:27 சொல்லுகிறது: “சமாதானத்தை உங்களுக்கு வைத்துப்போகிறேன், என்னுடைய சமாதானத்தையே உங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கிறேன்; உலகம் கொடுக்கிறபிரகாரம் நான் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கிறதில்லை. உங்கள் இருதயம் கலங்காமலும் பயப்படாமலும் இருப்பதாக.”

சிந்திக்க: என்னைச் சுற்றியுள்ள அனைத்தும் நிலையற்றதாகவும் குழப்பமானதாகவும் உணரும்போதும், அசைக்க முடியாத சமாதானத்தை அவர் கொண்டுவருவார் என்று அவரை நம்பி, என் வாழ்க்கையின் புயல்களைத் தணிக்க தேவனுடைய பிரசன்னத்தை நான் அனுமதிக்கிறேனா?
