"Blog Y2 625 - "Walking in Holy Fear"

In the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, And His children will have a place of refuge. Proverbs 14:26.

True security is never found in fearing people or worldly powers. When we fear man more than God, it becomes a snare, leaving us anxious and vulnerable. But the fear of the Lord, the reverent awe and honor we give Him, brings strong confidence and lasting peace.

This holy fear is not about dread, but about recognizing God’s majesty, justice, and love. It becomes the firm foundation for wisdom, health, protection, and provision. A life rooted in reverence for God leads not only to personal confidence but also secures refuge for our children and generations to come.

Psalm 128 beautifully outlines the blessings that flow from walking in the fear of the Lord, blessings that extend to our homes, work, and legacy. These promises are not limited to us alone, but are meant for our descendants as well.

May the Holy Spirit fill us with His presence and continually teach us to walk in the fear of the Lord, so that our lives and our generations may dwell in the safety of His refuge. Psalm 34:7 says: “The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them.”

Reflection: Am I cultivating a deep respect for God that brings me confidence and safety? Do I trust in His protection over any worldly fear or anxiety that tries to shake my peace?

உண்மையான பாதுகாப்பு ஒருபோதும் மனிதர்களுக்கோ உலக அதிகாரங்களுக்கோ பயப்படுவதில் இல்லை. நாம் தேவனைவிட மனிதனுக்கு அதிகமாகப் பயப்படும்போது, அது ஒரு கண்ணியாக மாறி, நம்மை கவலையுடையவர்களாகவும் பாதிக்கப்படக்கூடியவர்களாகவும் ஆக்குகிறது. ஆனால் கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதல், நாம் அவருக்குக் கொடுக்கும் மரியாதை மற்றும் பயபக்தி, பலத்த நம்பிக்கையையும் நீடித்த சமாதானத்தையும் தருகிறது.

இந்த மகிமையான பயம் அச்சத்தைப் பற்றியது அல்ல, மாறாக தேவனுடைய மகத்துவம், நீதி மற்றும் அன்பை அங்கீகரிப்பதாகும். இது ஞானம், ஆரோக்கியம், பாதுகாப்பு மற்றும் தேவைகளுக்கான உறுதியான அடித்தளமாகிறது. தேவபக்தியில் வேரூன்றிய வாழ்க்கை தனிப்பட்ட நம்பிக்கைக்கு வழிவகுப்பது மட்டுமல்லாமல், நம் பிள்ளைகளுக்கும் வரும் தலைமுறைகளுக்கும் அடைக்கலத்தை அளிக்கிறது..

சங்கீதம் 128, கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்து நடப்பதினால் உண்டாகும் ஆசீர்வாதங்களை அழகாக விவரிக்கிறது. இந்த ஆசீர்வாதங்கள் நம் வீடுகளுக்கும், வேலைக்கும், மற்றும் நம் சந்ததியினருக்கும் நீட்டிக்கப்படுகின்றன. இந்த வாக்குறுதிகள் நமக்காக மட்டுமே அல்ல, நம் சந்ததியினருக்கும் தான்.

பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் நம்மைத் தம் பிரசன்னத்தால் நிரப்பி, கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்து நடக்க நமக்குத் தொடர்ந்து கற்பிப்பாராக, அதனால் நம் வாழ்க்கையும் நம் சந்ததியினரும் அவருடைய அடைக்கலத்தின் பாதுகாப்பில் வாழலாம். சங்கீதம் 34:7 சொல்லுகிறது: "கர்த்தருடைய தூதன் அவருக்குப் பயந்தவர்களைச் சூழப் பாளயமிறங்கி அவர்களை விடுவிக்கிறார்."

சிந்திக்க: எனக்கு நம்பிக்கையையும் பாதுகாப்பையும் தரும் தேவனைப் பற்றிய ஆழ்ந்த மரியாதையை நான் வளர்த்துக் கொள்கிறேனா? அதோடு என் சமாதானத்தைக் குலைக்க முயற்சிக்கும் உலக பயம் மற்றும் கவலையை விடவும் அவருடைய பாதுகாப்பை அதிகமாக நான் நம்புகிறேனா?
