"Blog Y2 636 - "Faith Filled Prayers Bring Power"

And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. James 5:15.

Prayer is powerful, but only prayer with faith truly works! Without faith, we cannot please God. It’s not just about believing, because the Bible says even the devils believe that God exists. Faith goes beyond that. We must believe that our Almighty God will answer us when we pray.

Surely, prayers offered in faith will bring answers! We are not standing before lifeless idols or carved stones or pictures; we are standing in the presence of the Living God, the Creator of heaven and earth. Yes, prayers made in faith will bring us victory in every area of our lives.

Such prayers not only bring healing to the sick, but also bring forgiveness of sins and help us walk daily in faith. Mark 11:24 says: "Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them."

Reflection: Am I truly believing that my prayers reach the Living God, and do I expect Him to respond with healing, strength, and grace when I speak to Him with faith?

அப்பொழுது விசுவாசமுள்ள ஜெபம் பிணியாளியை இரட்சிக்கும்; கர்த்தர் அவனை எழுப்புவார்; அவன் பாவஞ்செய்தவனானால் அது அவனுக்கு மன்னிக்கப்படும். யாக்கோபு 5:15. 

ஜெபம் சக்திவாய்ந்தது, ஆனால் விசுவாசத்தோடு கூடிய ஜெபம் மட்டுமே உண்மையாக செயல்படும்! விசுவாசம் இல்லாமல் நம்மால் தேவனுக்குப் பிரியமாக இருக்க முடியாது. அது வெறும் விசுவாசிப்பது மட்டுமல்ல, ஏனென்றால் பிசாசுகளும் தேவன் இருக்கிறார் என்று விசுவாசிக்கின்றன என்று பரிசுத்த வேதாகமம் கூறுகிறது. விசுவாசம் அதைத் தாண்டிச் செல்கிறது. நாம் ஜெபிக்கும்போது நம்முடைய சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள தேவன் நமக்கு பதிலளிப்பார் என்று நாம் விசுவாசிக்க வேண்டும்.

நிச்சயமாக, விசுவாசத்தோடு ஏறெடுக்கப்படும் ஜெபங்கள் பதில்களைக் கொண்டுவரும்! நாம் உயிரற்ற சிலைகளின் முன்போ அல்லது செதுக்கப்பட்ட கற்களின் முன்போ  அல்லது ஒரு படத்தின் முன்போ நிற்கவில்லை; நாம் வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் படைத்த ஜீவனுள்ள தேவனுடைய பிரசன்னத்தில் நிற்கிறோம். ஆம், விசுவாசத்தோடு செய்யப்படும் ஜெபங்கள் நம் வாழ்க்கையின் ஒவ்வொரு பகுதியிலும் நமக்கு வெற்றியைத் தரும்.

இத்தகைய ஜெபங்கள் பிணியாளிகளுக்கு சுகமளிப்பது மட்டுமல்லாமல், பாவமன்னிப்பையும் கொண்டுவந்து, தினமும் விசுவாசத்தில் நடக்க நமக்கு உதவுகிறது. மாற்கு 11:24 சொல்லுகிறது : "ஆதலால், நீங்கள் ஜெபம்பண்ணும்போது எவைகளைக் கேட்டுக்கொள்வீர்களோ, அவைகளைப் பெற்றுகொள்வோம் என்று விசுவாசியுங்கள், அப்பொழுது அவைகள் உங்களுக்கு உண்டாகும் என்று சொல்லுகிறேன்."

சிந்தனை: என் ஜெபங்கள் ஜீவனுள்ள தேவனை அடைகின்றன என்று நான் உண்மையிலேயே நம்பி,  விசுவாசத்தோடு ஜெபிக்கும்போது, அவர் சுகமாக்குவதுடன், பலத்தையும் கிருபையையும்  கொடுத்து பதிலளிப்பார் என்று  நான் எதிர்பார்க்கிறேனா?
