"Blog Y2 657 - "Eternal Power of God’s Word"

I have seen the consummation of all perfection, But Your commandment is exceedingly broad. Psalm 119:96.

Everything we see in this world has its own limits. No matter how perfect something may appear, one day it will come to an end. Our physical eyes can never find lasting perfection in anything created, because all of creation is temporary. As the book of Ecclesiastes reminds us, “Vanity of vanities, all is vanity.” Whatever human beings build or achieve in this world will eventually fade away.

But the Word of God is different. His commandments have no limits, no boundaries, no expiration. They are filled with Spirit and life, eternal in power and purpose. God’s Word always accomplishes the purpose for which it is sent; it never returns void. His Word brings freedom to the captive, light to those in darkness, and life to those who are perishing.

When we meditate on the Word of God day and night, it begins to shape our thoughts, renew our minds, and guide our steps. His Word speaks, comforts, corrects, and directs us in every area of life. It is limitless and eternal because it flows from the limitless and eternal God.

Therefore, while all human perfection comes to an end, God’s Word endures forever. If we place our trust in it, meditating on it faithfully, whatever we do will prosper in His timing and will. For the Word of God is living, active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, it is life itself.

Reflection: Am I trusting in what I can see and achieve, or am I choosing to anchor my life in God’s living Word, which alone is unchanging, life-giving, and without limits?

சகல சம்பூரணத்திற்கும் எல்லையைக் கண்டேன்; உம்முடைய கற்பனையோ மகா விஸ்தாரம். சங்கீதம் 119:96.

இந்த உலகில் நாம் பார்க்கும் எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் அதன் சொந்த எல்லைகள் உண்டு. ஒரு காரியம் எவ்வளவு பூரணமாகத் தோன்றினாலும், ஒரு நாள் அது முடிவுக்கு வரும். நம்முடைய கண்களால் படைக்கப்பட்ட எந்தவொன்றிலும் நிலையான பூரணத்துவத்தைக் காண முடியாது, ஏனெனில் எல்லாப் படைப்புகளும் தற்காலிகமானவை. பிரசங்கி புத்தகம் நமக்கு நினைவூட்டுவது போல, "மாயை, மாயை, எல்லாம் மாயையே." மனிதர்கள் இந்த உலகில் எதைக் கட்டினாலும் அல்லது எதைச் சாதித்தாலும், அது ஒரு நாள் மறைந்துவிடும்.

ஆனால் தேவனுடைய வார்த்தை வித்தியாசமானது. அவருடைய கட்டளைகளுக்கு எல்லைகள் இல்லை, வரம்புகள் இல்லை, காலாவதி இல்லை. அவைகள் ஆவியும் ஜீவனுமாக, வல்லமையிலும் நோக்கத்திலும் நித்தியமானவை. தேவனுடைய வார்த்தை அது அனுப்பப்பட்ட நோக்கத்தை எப்போதும் நிறைவேற்றும், அது ஒருபோதும் வெறுமையாய் திரும்பாது. அவருடைய வார்த்தை சிறைப்பட்டவர்களுக்கு விடுதலையையும், இருளில் இருப்பவர்களுக்கு வெளிச்சத்தையும், அழிந்துபோகிறவர்களுக்கு ஜீவனையும் கொண்டுவருகிறது.

நாம் தேவனுடைய வார்த்தையை இரவும் பகலும் தியானிக்கும்போது, அது நம்முடைய எண்ணங்களை வடிவமைக்கவும், நம்முடைய மனதைப் புதிதாக்கவும், நம்முடைய பாதைகளுக்கு வழிகாட்டவும் தொடங்குகிறது. அவருடைய வார்த்தை நம் வாழ்க்கையின் ஒவ்வொரு பகுதியிலும் பேசுகிறது, ஆறுதல் அளிக்கிறது, திருத்துகிறது, வழிநடத்துகிறது. அது வரம்பற்றது மற்றும் நித்தியமானது, ஏனெனில் அது வரம்பற்ற மற்றும் நித்தியமான தேவனிடமிருந்து வருகிறது.

ஆகவே, எல்லா மனித பூரணத்துவமும் முடிவுக்கு வரும்போது, தேவனுடைய வார்த்தை என்றென்றும் நிலைத்திருக்கும். நாம் அதை விசுவாசத்துடன் தியானித்து, அதில் நம்பிக்கை வைத்தால், நாம் செய்வதெல்லாம் அவருடைய நேரத்திலும் சித்தத்திலும் செழிக்கும். ஏனென்றால், தேவனுடைய வார்த்தை ஜீவனும் வல்லமையும் உள்ளதாகவும், இருபுறமும் கருக்குள்ள எந்தப் பட்டயத்தைவிடவும் கூர்மையானதாகவும் இருக்கிறது; அதுவே ஜீவன்.

சிந்திக்க: நான் என் கண்களால் காணக்கூடியவற்றையும், நான் சாதிக்கக்கூடியவற்றையும் நம்பி, மாறாததும், ஜீவனைத் தருவதும், வரம்பற்றதுமான தேவனுடைய ஜீவனுள்ள வார்த்தையில் என் வாழ்க்கையை நிலைநிறுத்த நான் தெரிந்துகொள்கிறேனா?
