Blog Y2 661 - "Abiding Brings Answered Prayers"

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. John 15:7.

Almost every promise of God comes with a condition. Even as parents, we often give our children instructions before granting them what they ask. Here too, God gives His children a precious condition.

The Word of God is powerful, full of Spirit and life. When we abide in His Word, it is ultimately for our benefit. God knows that if we remain in His Word, it means He is everything to us; our delight, our focus, and our treasure. When we live this way, we become very special and precious to Him, and He is always ready to answer our prayers.

If we truly love God, we will naturally listen to and obey His Word. We will not desire to grieve Him or the Holy Spirit. Instead, we will live in a way that pleases Him, and our desires will align with His will. 1 John 5:14 says: “Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.”

Reflection: Am I truly letting His Word shape my heart and desires, so that I may live in a way that pleases Him and receive the blessings He has prepared for me?

நீங்கள் என்னிலும், என் வார்த்தைகள் உங்களிலும் நிலைத்திருந்தால், நீங்கள் கேட்டுக்கொள்வதெதுவோ அது உங்களுக்குச் செய்யப்படும். யோவான் 15:7.

பெரும்பாலும் தேவனுடைய ஒவ்வொரு வாக்குறுதிக்கும் ஒரு நிபந்தனை உண்டு. பெற்றோர்களாகிய நாமும் கூட, நம் பிள்ளைகள் கேட்பதைக் கொடுப்பதற்கு முன் அவர்களுக்கு அறிவுரைகளை வழங்குவது வழக்கம். இங்கும், தேவன் தம் பிள்ளைகளுக்கு ஒரு பொன்னான நிபந்தனையை அளிக்கிறார்.

தேவனுடைய வார்த்தை வல்லமையானது, ஆவியும் ஜீவனுமானது. நாம் அவருடைய வார்த்தையில் நிலைத்திருக்கும்போது, அது இறுதியில் நமக்கு நன்மை பயக்கும். நாம் அவருடைய வார்த்தையில் நிலைத்திருந்தால், அவர் நமக்கு எல்லாம்; நம்முடைய மகிழ்ச்சி, நம்முடைய கவனம், நம்முடைய பொக்கிஷம் என்று அவருக்குத் தெரியும். நாம் இப்படி வாழும்போது, நாம் அவருக்கு மிகவும் விசேஷமானவர்களாகவும், பொக்கிஷமாகவும் ஆகிறோம், மேலும் அவர் நம் ஜெபங்களுக்குப் பதிலளிக்க எப்போதும் ஆயத்தமாக இருக்கிறார்.

நாம் உண்மையாகவே தேவனை நேசித்தால், இயல்பாகவே நாம் அவருடைய வார்த்தைக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவோம். அவரை அல்லது பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரைத் துக்கப்படுத்த நாம் விரும்ப மாட்டோம். மாறாக, அவருக்குப் பிரியமான வழியில் நாம் வாழ்வோம், நம்முடைய விருப்பங்கள் அவருடைய சித்தத்திற்கு இசைவாக இருக்கும். 1 யோவான் 5:14 சொல்லுகிறது: “நாம் எதையாகிலும் அவருடைய சித்தத்தின்படி கேட்டால், அவர் நமக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கிறாரென்பதே அவரைப் பற்றி நாம் கொண்டிருக்கிற தைரியம்.”

சிந்திக்க: என்னுடைய இருதயத்தையும் விருப்பங்களையும் அவருடைய வார்த்தை உண்மையாகவே வடிவமைக்க அனுமதிப்பதனால்,  நான் அவருக்குப் பிரியமான வழியில் வாழ்ந்து  அவர் எனக்காக ஆயத்தம் செய்த ஆசீர்வாதங்களைப் பெறுகிறேனா?
