Blog Y3 688 - "Blessings Through Reverent Living"

Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in His ways. When you eat the labor of your hands, you shall be happy, and it shall be well with you. Psalms 128:1-2.

Whenever we receive a promise from God, we must also look at His expectations for us. In this verse, the Word teaches us that those who truly fear the Lord and walk in His ways will be blessed.

The fear of God does not mean being afraid of Him, but rather placing Him as our first love. It means loving Him wholeheartedly and seeking to please Him in all we do. When our love for God is sincere, we will be careful not to grieve Him through our thoughts, words, or actions.

Then surely, our lives will be blessed by our Father. Our efforts will not be in vain. Whatever we labor for, we will enjoy its fruits. God promises that our lives will be filled with happiness, prosperity, peace, and well-being. When we love and obey our Heavenly Father, His blessing will rest upon us, and everything will be well with us. Colossians 3:23-24 says: “And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.”

Reflection: Am I walking each day with a heart that loves and honors God above all else, so that my life, my work, and the fruits of my labor may reflect His promised blessing and peace?

நாம் தேவனிடமிருந்து ஒரு வாக்குறுதியைப் பெறும்போதெல்லாம், அவர் நம்மிடம் எதிர்பார்ப்பதையும் நாம் பார்க்க வேண்டும். இந்த வசனத்தில், கர்த்தருக்கு உண்மையாகப் பயந்து அவருடைய வழிகளில் நடக்கிறவர்கள் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்படுவார்கள் என்று வேதவாக்கியம் நமக்குக் கற்பிக்கிறது.

தேவபயம் என்பது அவருக்குப் பயப்படுவது என்று அர்த்தமல்ல, மாறாக அவரை நம்முடைய முதலாவது அன்பாக வைப்பதாகும். அதாவது, அவரை முழு இருதயத்தோடும் நேசித்து, நாம் செய்வதெல்லாவற்றிலும் அவருக்குப் பிரியமானதைச் செய்ய நாடுவதாகும். தேவன்மீதுள்ள நம்முடைய அன்பு உண்மையாக இருக்கும்போது, நம்முடைய எண்ணங்கள், வார்த்தைகள் அல்லது செயல்கள் மூலம் நாம் அவருக்குத் துக்கம் உண்டாக்காமல் இருக்க கவனமாக இருப்போம்.

அப்பொழுது, நிச்சயமாகவே, நம்முடைய வாழ்க்கை நம் பிதாவினால் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்படும். நம்முடைய முயற்சிகள் வீண் போகாது. நாம் எதற்காக உழைக்கிறோமோ, அதன் பலனை நாம் அனுபவிப்போம். நம்முடைய வாழ்க்கை மகிழ்ச்சி, செழிப்பு, சமாதானம் மற்றும் நல்வாழ்வு ஆகியவற்றால் நிரப்பப்படும் என்று தேவன் வாக்குறுதி அளிக்கிறார். நாம் நம்முடைய பரம பிதாவை நேசித்து, கீழ்ப்படியும்போது, அவருடைய ஆசீர்வாதம் நம்மேல் தங்கும், மேலும் எல்லாமே நமக்கு நன்மையாக இருக்கும். கொலோசெயர் 3:23-24 சொல்லுகிறது: "எதைச் செய்தாலும், அதை மனுஷர்களுக்கென்று செய்யாமல், கர்த்தருக்கென்றே மனப்பூர்வமாய்ச் செய்யுங்கள். அநியாயஞ்செய்கிறவன் தான் செய்த அநியாயத்துக்கேற்ற பலனை அடைவான்; பட்சபாதமே இல்லை."

சிந்திக்க: என் வாழ்க்கையும், என் வேலையும், என் உழைப்பின் பலன்களும் அவர் வாக்குறுதியளித்த ஆசீர்வாதத்தையும் சமாதானத்தையும் பிரதிபலிக்கும்படி, நான் தேவனை எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் மேலாக நேசித்து கனம்பண்ணுகிற இருதயத்துடன் ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் நடக்கிறேனா?
