Blog Y3 701 - "Gratitude to My Shepherd"

So we, Your people and sheep of Your pasture, Will give You thanks forever; We will show forth Your praise to all generations. Psalm 79:13.

We are God’s people the sheep of His pasture. He is our loving Shepherd who guides us, protects us, and provides everything we need. When we wander, He gently brings us back. When we are weary, He restores our soul. When enemies rise against us, He becomes our Defender and prepares a banquet table right in their presence. He anoints our heads with oil, fills our cups to overflowing, and leads us into green pastures of peace and rest.

How can our hearts remain silent before such love? When we truly realize all that He has done  His mercy that forgave us, His grace that sustains us, and His faithfulness that never fails our souls must overflow with thanksgiving. Gratitude should not be just a momentary feeling but a lifelong response. Every breath we take is a gift, and with every breath, we must give Him praise.

Let our thanksgiving be continual, not only for what God has done but for who He is our Shepherd, our Redeemer, and our Eternal King. When our hearts are filled with gratitude, it naturally flows out as testimony. We begin to share His goodness with others, especially our children and the generations to come.

May our homes and families become places of worship, where His praises echo from one generation to the next, declaring that the Lord is good and His mercy endures forever!

Reflection: Am I daily thanking my loving Shepherd for His care and guidance, and do I let my heart overflow with praise so that others may see His goodness through my life?

அப்பொழுது, உம்முடைய ஜனங்களும் உம்முடைய மேய்ச்சலின் ஆடுகளுமாகிய நாங்கள் உம்மை என்றென்றைக்கும் புகழுவோம்; தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக உமது துதியைச் சொல்லிவருவோம். சங்கீதம் 79:13.

நாம் தேவனுடைய ஜனங்களும் அவருடைய மேய்ச்சலின் ஆடுகளுமாயிருக்கிறோம். அவர் நம்மை வழிநடத்தி, பாதுகாத்து, நமக்குத் தேவையான அனைத்தையும் கொடுக்கும் நம்முடைய அன்பான மேய்ப்பர். நாம் வழிதவறி அலையும்போது, அவர் மென்மையாக நம்மை மீண்டும் அழைத்து வருகிறார். நாம் சோர்வடையும்போது, அவர் நம் ஆத்துமாவைத் தேற்றுகிறார். நமக்கு விரோதமாக எதிரிகள் எழும்பும்போது, அவர் நம் பாதுகாவலராக மாறி, அவர்கள் முன்பாகவே நமக்கு ஒரு விருந்து அளிக்கிறார். அவர் நம் தலையை எண்ணெயால் அபிஷேகம் செய்கிறார், நம் பாத்திரத்தை நிரம்பி வழியச் செய்கிறார், பசுமையான மேய்ச்சல் நிலங்களுக்குநம்மை வழிநடத்தி, சமாதானமும்  ஓய்வும் கிடைக்கச் செய்கிறார்.

இப்படிப்பட்ட அன்புக்கு முன்னால் நம் இருதயம் எப்படி மௌனமாக இருக்க முடியும்? நம்மை மன்னித்த அவருடைய இரக்கம், நம்மைத் தாங்கும் அவருடைய கிருபை, ஒருபோதும் மாறாத அவருடைய உண்மை,  ஆகிய அவர் செய்துள்ள அனைத்தையும் நாம் உண்மையிலேயே உணரும்போத, நம் ஆத்துமாக்கள் நன்றியால் நிரம்பி வழிய வேண்டும். நன்றி என்பது ஒரு கண நேர உணர்வாக இருக்காமல், வாழ்நாள் முழுவதும் நன்றியுடையவர்களாக இருக்க வேண்டும். நாம் எடுக்கும் ஒவ்வொரு மூச்சும் ஒரு பரிசு, ஒவ்வொரு மூச்சு விடும் பொழுதும் அவருக்குப் புகழ்ச்சி செலுத்த வேண்டும்.

தேவன் செய்த காரியங்களுக்காக மட்டுமல்ல, அவர் யார் என்பதற்காகவும்; நம் மேய்ப்பர், நம் மீட்பர், நம் நித்திய ராஜா என்பதற்காகவும்; நம் நன்றி இடைவிடாமல் இருக்கட்டும். நம் இருதயங்கள் நன்றியால் நிறைந்திருக்கும்போது, அது இயல்பாகவே சாட்சியாகப் பாய்கிறது. அவருடைய நன்மையை மற்றவர்களுக்கும், குறிப்பாக நம் குழந்தைகளுக்கும், வரவிருக்கும் தலைமுறைகளுக்கும் நாம் சொல்ல ஆரம்பிக்கிறோம்.

நம் வீடுகளும் குடும்பங்களும் ஆராதனைக்குரிய இடங்களாக மாறட்டும், அங்கே அவருடைய துதிகள் ஒரு தலைமுறையிலிருந்து அடுத்த தலைமுறைக்கு எதிரொலிக்கட்டும், கர்த்தர் நல்லவர் என்றும் அவருடைய இரக்கம் என்றென்றும் நிலைத்திருக்கும் என்றும் பிரகடனப்படுத்தட்டும்!

சிந்திக்க: நான் என் நல்ல  மேய்ப்பரின் கவனிப்பு மற்றும் வழிகாட்டுதலுக்காக தினமும் அவருக்கு நன்றி செலுத்தி, என் இருதயம் துதியினால் நிரம்பி வழிய நான் அனுமதித்து, அதனால் மற்றவர்கள் என் வாழ்க்கை மூலம் அவருடைய நன்மையைக் காண முடிகிறதா?
