Blog Y3 710 - "Living in God’s Authority"

Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19.

Our identity is that we are God’s possession. When we become His children, He gives us His authority and power. When Jesus walked on this earth, He moved in divine power and authority. He drove out demons from the possessed, healed the sick, performed mighty miracles, and was always moved with compassion.

When He ascended to Heaven, He sent His Holy Spirit to dwell in us, imparting that same power and authority to His children. Even when He was with His disciples, He gave them authority over all principalities and evil powers, promising that nothing would harm them.

Now, it is our time to act as His representatives. Often, we fail to recognize who we are and to whom we belong. God has placed each of us in specific places, whether in our families, workplaces, or communities, to shine as His light and a vessel of authority.

Let us stand firm and move forward boldly, practicing the power and authority our loving Father God has entrusted to us. For He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world.

Reflection: Am I walking each day with the confidence and boldness of one who carries God’s power within me, using the authority He has given to bring light and hope wherever I am placed?

நம்முடைய அன்புள்ள பிதாவாகிய தேவன் நமக்கு அளித்திருக்கும் வல்லமையையும் அதிகாரத்தையும் அசைக்க முடியாமல் நின்று, தைரியமாக முன்னோக்கிச் சென்று செயல்படுத்துவோம். ஏனென்றால், நமக்குள்ளே இருப்பவர் உலகத்திலே இருப்பவனைக் காட்டிலும் பெரியவர்.
