Blog Y3 711 - "Serving Christ Through Compassion"

And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ Matthew 25:40.

Yes! Our God is the King of kings and Lord of lords. One day, all will stand before Him on the Day of Judgment. There will be many surprises, but as God’s children, we know the truth.

There is a great difference between being good and being saved. We may think that good deeds alone please God, yet our kindness often extends only to those who are kind to us. Too often, we forget the poor and needy, those dearest to God’s heart. Whenever we see someone in need, let us remember that God blesses us so that we can bless others. Every act of love and compassion touches His heart deeply.

On that glorious Day of Judgment, may the Lord say, “Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world” May the Holy Spirit open our eyes to see the needs of the poor and guide us to use our blessings to help them, for in serving them, we are truly serving Christ.

Reflection: Am I using what I have to lift others in need, showing genuine love and kindness that reflect my faith, knowing that in serving them, I am truly serving my Lord?

அதற்கு ராஜா பிரதியுத்தரமாக: மிகவும் சிறியவராகிய என் சகோதரரான இவர்களில் ஒருவனுக்கு நீங்கள் எதைச் செய்தீர்களோ, அதை எனக்கே செய்தீர்கள் என்று மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன் என்பார். மத்தேயு 25:40.

ஆம்! நம் தேவனே ராஜாதி ராஜாவும் கர்த்தாதி கர்த்தருமானவர். ஒரு நாள், நியாயத்தீர்ப்பு நாளிலே, யாவரும் அவர் முன்பாக நிற்போம். அங்கே பல வியப்புகள் இருக்கும், ஆனால் தேவனுடைய பிள்ளைகளாகிய நமக்கு சத்தியம் தெரியும்.

நல்லவர்களாக இருப்பதற்கும் இரட்சிக்கப்படுவதற்கும் பெரும் வித்தியாசம் உள்ளது. நற்கிரியைகள் மட்டுமே தேவனுக்குப் பிரியமானது என்று நாம் நினைக்கலாம், ஆனால் நம்முடைய தயாள குணம் பெரும்பாலும் நமக்குக் கிருபை காட்டுபவர்களுக்கு மட்டுமே நீண்டு செல்கிறது. தேவனுடைய இருதயத்திற்கு மிகவும் பிரியமான ஏழைகளையும் எளியோரையும் நாம் அடிக்கடி மறந்துவிடுகிறோம். நாம் தேவையுள்ள ஒருவரைக் காணும்போது, மற்றவர்களுக்கு ஆசீர்வாதமாக இருப்பதற்காகவே தேவன் நம்மை ஆசீர்வதித்திருக்கிறார் என்பதை நினைவில் கொள்வோமாக. அன்போடும் இரக்கத்தோடும் செய்யும் ஒவ்வொரு செயலும் அவர் இருதயத்தை ஆழமாகத் தொடுகிறது.

அந்த மகிமையுள்ள நியாயத்தீர்ப்பு நாளிலே, கர்த்தர், "வாருங்கள் என் பிதாவினால் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவர்களே, உலகம் உண்டானதுமுதல் உங்களுக்காக ஆயத்தம் பண்ணப்பட்டிருக்கிற ராஜ்யத்தைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள்." என்று கூறும்படிக்கு, நாம் வாழுவோமாக. பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் நம் கண்களைத் திறந்து, ஏழைகளின் தேவைகளைக் காணவும், அவர்களுக்கு உதவ நம்முடைய ஆசீர்வாதங்களைப் பயன்படுத்தவும் நம்மை வழிநடத்துவாராக. ஏனென்றால், அவர்களுக்குச் சேவை செய்வதன் மூலமே நாம் உண்மையாகக் கிறிஸ்துவுக்குச் சேவை செய்கிறோம்.

சிந்தனை: தேவைப்படும் மற்றவர்களை உயர்த்த என்னிடம் இருப்பதைப் பயன்படுத்தி, என் விசுவாசத்தை பிரதிபலிக்கும் உண்மையான அன்பையும் கருணையையும் காட்டி, அவர்களுக்கு சேவை செய்வதன்  மூலம், கர்த்தருக்கு சேவை செய்கிறேன் என்பதை உண்மையிலேயே நான் அறிந்திருக்கிறேனா?
