Blog Y3 721 - "Everlasting Joy in His Return"

Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you. John 16:22.

In this world, fear, confusion, and restlessness surround us. We see uncertainty in wars, sickness, loss, and hearts growing cold. The world’s peace is fleeting, and its joy fades quickly. But the Lord Jesus Christ offers a different kind of joy, one that the world cannot take away.

When Jesus prepared to leave His disciples and return to the Father, He saw their sorrow and understood their pain. They had walked with Him for over three years, hearing His words, witnessing His miracles, and feeling His love. That bond was deep and personal, so when He spoke of leaving, their hearts were troubled. Yet, Jesus comforted them with a promise: “You will see Me again.” He said not only of His resurrection but also of His glorious return, assuring them that their sorrow would last only for a little while and that joy would come when they saw Him again.

Even now, as we wait for His coming, our hearts sometimes grow weary amid life’s troubles. Yet we must hold fast to His promise; Jesus Christ is coming again, not as a suffering Savior but as the King of kings. On that day, every tear will be wiped away, every sorrow turned to everlasting joy, and we will rejoice forever in His glorious presence. Hallelujah!

Reflection: Am I living each day with the joyful hope of seeing my Lord again, keeping my heart steadfast amid life’s troubles, and allowing His promise of return to fill me with unshakable peace and strength?

இப்பொழுதும் கூட, அவருடைய வருகைக்காக நாம் காத்திருக்கும்போது, ​​வாழ்க்கையின் கஷ்டங்களின் மத்தியில் நம் இருதயங்கள் சில சமயங்களில் சோர்வடைகின்றன. ஆனாலும், நாம் அவருடைய வாக்குத்தத்தத்தை உறுதியாகப் பற்றிக்கொள்ள வேண்டும்; இயேசு கிறிஸ்து மறுபடியும் வரப்போகிறார், அவர் பாடுபடும் இரட்சகராக அல்ல, ஆனால் ராஜாதி இராஜாவாக வரப்போகிறார். அந்த நாளில், ஒவ்வொரு கண்ணீரும் துடைக்கப்படும், ஒவ்வொரு துக்கமும் நித்திய மகிழ்ச்சியாக மாறும், அவருடைய மகிமையுள்ள பிரசன்னத்தில் நாம் என்றென்றும் சந்தோஷப்படுவோம். அல்லேலூயா!
