Blog Y3 723 - "Love That Unites"

Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another. Romans 12:10.

Jesus Christ, our Elder Brother, showed us the perfect example of brotherly love. He lived in a family like we do, and though His own family initially did not recognize Him as the Messiah, He still loved them unconditionally. In time, His brothers James and Jude became His followers and later wrote books in the New Testament—proof that genuine love can transform hearts. Today, natural affection is fading, not only among families but even within the church. Many silently long for true kindness and care, yet God has given us family, friendships, and the church so we can support and love one another. Scripture reminds us, “How good and pleasant it is when brethren to dwell together in unity!” (Psalm 133:1).

When we love with sincere, Christlike love, we show that we truly belong to God, for His children reflect His heart. At times, we may show love outwardly while struggling inwardly, revealing our human weakness. But when we humble ourselves and seek God’s help, the Holy Spirit fills our hearts with His love, enabling us to love even when it is difficult. True humility is evident when we prioritize honoring others and choose unity over pride, reflecting the character of Jesus, our Elder Brother.

Let us ask God to fill us with His divine love so we may love our families, friends, and fellow believers with sincerity, compassion, and unity, just as Christ loved His own.

Reflection: Am I allowing Christ’s love to shape the way I treat those around me, seeking His help to love sincerely and humbly so that I build unity and reflect His heart in my family and among fellow believers?

நம்முடைய மூத்த சகோதரராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவே சகோதர அன்புக்குச் சரியான உதாரணத்தைக் காட்டினார். அவர் நம்மைப் போலவே ஒரு குடும்பத்தில் வாழ்ந்தார், அவருடைய சொந்தக் குடும்பம் ஆரம்பத்தில் அவரை மேசியாவாக அங்கீகரிக்காதபோதிலும், அவர் அவர்களை நிபந்தனையற்ற அன்போடு நேசித்தார். காலப்போக்கில், அவருடைய சகோதரர்களான யாக்கோபும் யூதாவும் அவருடைய சீஷர்களாயினர், பின்னர் புதிய ஏற்பாட்டில் புத்தகங்களை எழுதினர், இது உண்மையான அன்பு இருதயங்களை மாற்றும் என்பதற்கு ஆதாரம். இன்று, இயற்கையான பாசம் மங்கி வருகிறது, குடும்பங்களுக்குள்ளும் மட்டுமல்லாமல், திருச்சபைக்குள்ளும் கூட. அநேகர் உண்மையான தயவு மற்றும் அக்கறைக்காக அமைதியாக ஏங்குகிறார்கள், ஆனால் நாம் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் ஆதரவளிக்கவும் நேசிக்கவும் முடியும் என்பதற்காகவே தேவன் நமக்குக் குடும்பம், நட்பு, மற்றும் திருச்சபையை அளித்துள்ளார். வேதாகமம் நமக்கு நினைவூட்டுகிறது: "சகோதரர் ஒருமித்து வாசம்பண்ணுகிறது எத்தனை நன்மையும் எத்தனை இன்பமுமானது?" (சங்கீதம் 133:1).

நாம் உண்மையுள்ள, கிறிஸ்துவைப் போன்ற அன்போடு நேசிக்கும்போது, நாம் உண்மையிலேயே தேவனுக்குச் சொந்தமானவர்கள் என்பதைக் காட்டுகிறோம், ஏனெனில் அவருடைய பிள்ளைகள் அவருடைய இருதயத்தைப் பிரதிபலிக்கிறார்கள். சில சமயங்களில், நாம் வெளிப்புறத்தில் அன்பைக் காட்டினாலும், உட்புறத்தில் போராடக்கூடும், இது நம்முடைய மனித பலவீனத்தை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறது. ஆனால் நாம் நம்மைத் தாழ்த்தி தேவனுடைய உதவியை நாடும்போது, பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் நம் இருதயங்களை அவருடைய அன்பினால் நிரப்பி, கஷ்டமான நேரத்திலும் நேசிக்க நமக்கு உதவுகிறார். நாம் மற்றவர்களைக் கனம்பண்ணுவதற்கு முன்னுரிமை கொடுத்து, பெருமைக்கு மேல் ஒற்றுமையைத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கும்போது உண்மையான தாழ்மை வெளிப்படுகிறது, இது நம்முடைய மூத்த சகோதரராகிய இயேசுவின் குணாதிசயத்தைப் பிரதிபலிக்கிறது.

நம்முடைய குடும்பங்கள், நண்பர்கள் மற்றும் உடன்விசுவாசிகளை கிறிஸ்து தம்முடையவர்களை நேசித்ததைப் போலவே, உண்மையோடும், இரக்கத்தோடும், ஒற்றுமையோடும் நேசிக்க, நம்மை அவருடைய தெய்வீக அன்பால் நிரப்பும்படி தேவனிடம் கேட்போம்.

சிந்தனை: உண்மையாக, தாழ்மையாக நேசிப்பதற்கும், அதன் மூலம் ஒற்றுமையைக் கட்டி எழுப்பி, என் குடும்பத்திலும் உடன்விசுவாசிகளின்  மத்தியிலும் கிறிஸ்துவினுடைய  இருதயத்தைப் பிரதிபலித்து, என்னை சுற்றி உள்ளவர்களை நான் நடத்தும் விதத்தை கிறிஸ்துவின் அன்பு  என்னை வடிவமைக்க நான் அனுமதிக்கிறேனா?
