Blog Y3 740 - "Celebrating Heaven’s Gift"

Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men! Luke 2:14. 

This was the glorious song sung by the angelic choir, heard by the humble shepherds on that holy night. It was a wonderful and blessed moment for the world, but it was also a priceless sacrifice for our Father and for Heaven. Because of this great act of love, all glory truly belongs to God!

Yes, our Father sent His only begotten Son as the living sacrifice for us. Jesus Christ is the greatest gift ever given, Heaven’s own gift to humanity. He came into this world to restore our broken relationship with God the Father. Through His life, His death on the cross, and His resurrection, He has given us precious salvation and made us heirs of His eternal Kingdom.

This is the reason the angelic host proclaimed, “Glory to God in the highest!” For through Jesus Christ, peace and a blessed hope are given to all God’s children who walk in His ways. Hallelujah!

Let this precious truth fill our hearts as we enter into this Christmas season:

Jesus is truly the reason for this season.

Reflection: Am I embracing the wonder of Christ’s coming, letting His sacrifice draw me into more profound gratitude and stronger devotion as I walk through this blessed season He has given me?

உன்னதத்திலிருக்கிற தேவனுக்கு மகிமையும், பூமியிலே சமாதானமும், மனுஷர்மேல் பிரியமும் உண்டாவதாக என்று சொல்லி, தேவனைத் துதித்தார்கள். லூக்கா 2:14.

பரிசுத்தமான அந்த இரவில், தாழ்மையான மேய்ப்பர்களால் கேட்கப்பட்ட தூதர்களின் பாடகர் குழுவால் பாடப்பட்ட மகிமையான பாடல் இது. அது உலகிற்கு ஓர் அற்புதமான, ஆசீர்வாதமான தருணம், ஆனால் நம் பிதாவுக்கும் பரலோகத்திற்கும் அது ஈடு இணையற்ற தியாகமாகவும் இருந்தது. அன்பின் இந்த மகத்தான செயலினால், எல்லா மகிமையும் உண்மையாகவே தேவனுக்கு மட்டுமே உரியது!

ஆம், நம் பிதா தமது ஒரேபேறான குமாரனை நமக்காக ஜீவ பலியாக அனுப்பினார். இயேசு கிறிஸ்து இதுவரை கொடுக்கப்பட்டதிலேயே மிகச் சிறந்த ஈவு, மனிதகுலத்திற்கு பரலோகத்தின் சொந்த நன்கொடை. பிதாவாகிய தேவனோடிருந்த நம்முடைய உடைந்த உறவைச் சீர்பொருத்த அவர் இந்த உலகிற்கு வந்தார். அவருடைய வாழ்க்கை, சிலுவையில் அவர் மரித்தது, மற்றும் அவருடைய உயிர்த்தெழுதல் மூலமாக, அவர் நமக்கு விலையேறப்பெற்ற இரட்சிப்பைக் கொடுத்து, அவருடைய நித்திய ராஜ்யத்திற்கு நம்மை வாரிசுகளாக்கினார்.

இந்தக் காரணத்தினால்தான் தூதர்களின் கூட்டம், "உன்னதத்திலிருக்கிற தேவனுக்கு மகிமை உண்டாவதாக!" என்று முழங்கியது. ஏனெனில், இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் மூலமாக, அவருடைய வழிகளில் நடக்கிற தேவனுடைய பிள்ளைகள் அனைவருக்கும் சமாதானமும் ஆசீர்வாதமான நம்பிக்கையும் கொடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. அல்லேலூயா!

நாம் இந்தக் கிறிஸ்துமஸ் காலத்திற்குள் நுழையும்போது, இந்தக் கனமான சத்தியம் நம்முடைய இருதயங்களை நிரப்பட்டும்: இந்தக் காலத்திற்கான உண்மையான காரணம் இயேசுவே.

சிந்திக்க: தேவன் எனக்கு கொடுத்த இந்த ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்ட நாட்களில் நான் நடக்கும்போது அவருடைய தியாகம் என்னை மிகவும் ஆழமான நன்றியுணர்வுக்கும் வலுவான பக்திக்கும் நடத்துவதன்மூலம் கிறிஸ்துவின் வருகையின் அதிசயத்தை நான் ஏற்றுக்கொள்கிறேனா?
