Blog Y3 742 - "Shining Light of Christ"

The Christmas season is a time to reflect on the prophetic words of Balaam, who declared: A Star shall come out of Jacob; A Scepter shall rise out of Israel. Numbers 24:17. This prophecy points to Jesus Christ, the heavenly Star who brings light to the world, and the royal Scepter who reigns as our King.

The fulfillment of this prophecy is a remarkable story. Over a thousand years later, Jesus was born in Bethlehem, and a star appeared in the sky, guiding the wise men to worship the newborn King. This divine visitation is the heart of the Christmas celebration. The Star has risen!

Through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, He defeated the enemies of God's people, broke the curse of sin, and opened the way for eternal life. Today, we experience the victory, peace, deliverance, and everlasting light that Jesus brings.

As we celebrate Christmas, let's honor the promised King, the Star from Jacob, the Scepter of Israel, the One who reigns forever and ever. His coming has transformed our lives and the world.

Reflection: Am I allowing the risen Star, Jesus Christ, to guide my steps each day, so I walk in His light and honor Him as my true King?

இந்தத் தீர்க்கதரிசனத்தின் நிறைவேற்றம் ஒரு குறிப்பிடத்தக்க கதை. ஆயிரம் வருடங்களுக்கும் மேலாக, இயேசு பெத்லகேமில் பிறந்தார், மேலும் பிறந்த ராஜாவை வணங்குவதற்கு ஞானிகளை வழிநடத்தும் ஒரு நட்சத்திரம் வானத்தில் தோன்றியது. இந்த தெய்வீக வருகையே கிறிஸ்துமஸ் கொண்டாட்டத்தின் மையமாகும். நட்சத்திரம் உதித்துவிட்டது!

சிலுவையில் இயேசு செய்த தியாகத்தின் மூலம், அவர் தேவனுடைய மக்களின் எதிரிகளைத் தோற்கடித்தார், பாவத்தின் சாபத்தை முறித்தார், மற்றும் நித்திய ஜீவனுக்கு வழி திறந்தார். இன்று, இயேசு கொண்டுவரும் வெற்றி, சமாதானம், விடுதலை, மற்றும் நித்திய ஒளி ஆகியவற்றை நாம் அனுபவிக்கிறோம்.

நாம் கிறிஸ்துமஸைக் கொண்டாடும் போது, வாக்குப்பண்ணப்பட்ட ராஜாவை, அதாவது யாக்கோபிலிருந்து வந்த நட்சத்திரம், இஸ்ரவேலின் செங்கோல், என்றென்றைக்கும் ஆளுகிறவர் ஆகியவரை கனம் பண்ணுவோம். அவருடைய வருகை நம்முடைய வாழ்க்கையையும் உலகத்தையும் மாற்றிவிட்டது.

சிந்திக்க: உலகில் உதித்த நட்சத்திரமாகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் என் அடிகளை வழிநடத்த நான் அனுமதித்து, அவருடைய ஒளியில் நடந்து, அவரை என் உண்மையான ராஜாவாக கனம் பண்ணுகிறேனா?
