Blog Y3 745 - "Joy in His Presence"

Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion! For behold, I am coming, and I will dwell in your midst,” says the Lord. Zechariah 2:10.

Hallelujah! What a beautiful and comforting promise our God has given us. When He says, “I am coming, and I will dwell in your midst,” He reminds us that His presence is the greatest blessing we could ever receive. Where God dwells, there is peace, there is joy, there is love, there is every good thing.

Often, we long for people to stay with us, believing their presence will bring us happiness. The world may give us moments of joy, but they fade quickly. Yet we know the truth: only Jesus is the true Provider of Joy. Without Him, real joy cannot remain. People can make us happy for a short time, but when Jesus Himself comes to dwell in our hearts, He fills us with lasting happiness and an unchanging, divine peace that nothing in this world can take away.

So let us rejoice today, for the Lord has promised to be with us, now and forever.

Reflection: Am I welcoming the Lord’s nearness into my life, trusting that His presence alone fills me with lasting joy and steady peace no one else can give?

அல்லேலூயா! நமது தேவன் நமக்குக் கொடுத்திருக்கும் எவ்வளவு அழகான மற்றும் ஆறுதல் அளிக்கும் வாக்குறுதி இது! அவர், “நான் வருகிறேன், உன் நடுவிலே வாசம் பண்ணுவேன்” என்று சொல்லும்போது, அவருடைய பிரசன்னமே நாம் பெறக்கூடிய மிகப் பெரிய ஆசீர்வாதம் என்பதை நமக்கு நினைவூட்டுகிறார். தேவன் எங்கே வாசம் பண்ணுகிறாரோ, அங்கே சமாதானம் உண்டு, அங்கே சந்தோஷம் உண்டு, அங்கே அன்பு உண்டு, அங்கே எல்லா நல்ல காரியங்களும் உண்டு.

பெரும்பாலும், மக்கள் நம்முடன் இருக்க வேண்டும் என்று நாம் ஏங்குகிறோம், அவர்களுடைய பிரசன்னம் நமக்கு மகிழ்ச்சியைத் தரும் என்று நம்புகிறோம். உலகம் நமக்கு ஒரு சில நிமிட சந்தோஷங்களைக் கொடுக்கலாம், ஆனால் அவை சீக்கிரத்தில் மங்கிவிடும். ஆனால், சந்தோஷத்தை  உண்மையான வழங்குபவர் இயேசு ஒருவரே என்ற சத்தியத்தை நாம் அறிவோம். அவர் இல்லாமல், உண்மையான சந்தோஷம் நிலைத்திருக்க முடியாது. மக்கள் நம்மை கொஞ்ச காலம் சந்தோஷப்படுத்தலாம், ஆனால் இயேசு தாமே நம் இருதயங்களில் வாசம் பண்ண வரும்போது, அவர் நம்மை நீடித்த மகிழ்ச்சியினாலும், இந்த உலகில் எதனாலும் எடுத்துக்கொள்ள முடியாத மாறாத, தெய்வீக சமாதானத்தினாலும் நிரப்புகிறார்.

ஆகவே, கர்த்தர் நம்மோடிருப்பதாக, இப்பொழுதும் என்றென்றும் இருப்பதாக வாக்குரைத்திருப்பதால், இன்று நாம் களிகூருவோமாக.

சிந்திக்க: கர்த்தருடைய பிரசன்னம் மட்டுமே எனக்கு நீடித்த சந்தோஷத்தையும் வேறு யாரும் கொடுக்க முடியாத நிலையான சமாதானத்தையும் அளிக்கும் என்று நம்பி, அவர் என் அருகிலிருப்பதை நான் என் வாழ்க்கையில் வரவேற்கிறேனா?
