Blog Y3 747 - "Promises Never Fail"

There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots. Isaiah 11:1.

This is a prophecy about our Lord Jesus Christ. When Isaiah spoke these words, the royal line of King David seemed completely cut off, as if God's promise would never be fulfilled. But our God is a God of promises. He always accomplishes what He speaks. He never forgets His Word.

Even when situations look hopeless, God can bring new life, new beginnings, and full restoration. Jesus came exactly as God promised, from the line of David, the son of Jesse.

In the same way, this same powerful and faithful God is alive today. He will never slack, delay, or forget the promises He has given us. As we approach the end of this year, we may wonder why certain promises have not yet come to pass. But they will come to pass, in His perfect timing.

Our God never lies. He is faithful and righteous. If He has promised something, even when the present situation looks the opposite, surely He will do what He has spoken. He is always on time. 

Reflection: Am I trusting that God will bring new beginnings in my life, even when circumstances seem barren, believing that He will execute perfectly in His appointed time? 

ஈசாயென்னும் அடிமரத்திலிருந்து ஒரு துளிர் தோன்றி, அவன் வேர்களிலிருந்து ஒரு கிளை எழும்பிச் செழிக்கும். ஏசாயா 11:1.

இது நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவைப் பற்றிய ஒரு தீர்க்கதரிசனம். ஏசாயா இந்த வார்த்தைகளைப் பேசியபோது, தாவீது ராஜாவின் அரச வம்சம் முற்றிலும் வெட்டப்பட்டது போலத் தோன்றியது, தேவனுடைய வாக்குறுதி ஒருபோதும் நிறைவேறாது என்பது போலிருந்தது. ஆனால் நம் தேவன் வாக்குறுதிகளின் தேவன். அவர் சொன்னதை அவர் எப்போதும் நிறைவேற்றுகிறார். அவர் தம்முடைய வார்த்தையை ஒருபோதும் மறப்பதில்லை.

சூழல்கள் நம்பிக்கையற்றதாகத் தோன்றினாலும், தேவன் புதிய வாழ்வையும், புதிய தொடக்கங்களையும், முழுமையான மறுசீரமைப்பையும் கொண்டுவர முடியும். தேவன் வாக்குறுதி அளித்தபடியே, இயேசு ஈசாயின் மகனாகிய தாவீதின் வம்சத்திலிருந்து வந்தார்.

அதுபோலவே, இந்த வல்லமையுள்ள மற்றும் உண்மையுள்ள தேவன் இன்றும் உயிரோடிருக்கிறார். அவர் நமக்குக் கொடுத்த வாக்குறுதிகளை அவர் ஒருபோதும் தளரவிடமாட்டார், தாமதப்படுத்தமாட்டார், அல்லது மறக்கமாட்டார். இந்த வருடத்தின் முடிவை நாம் நெருங்கும் வேளையில், சில வாக்குறுதிகள் ஏன் இன்னும் நிறைவேறவில்லை என்று நாம் ஆச்சரியப்படலாம். ஆனால், அவருடைய சரியான நேரத்தில் அவை நிறைவேறும்.

நம் தேவன் ஒருபோதும் பொய் சொல்வதில்லை. அவர் உண்மையுள்ளவரும் நீதியுள்ளவருமாயிருக்கிறார். அவர் ஒரு காரியத்தை வாக்குறுதி அளித்திருந்தால், தற்போதைய சூழ்நிலை அதற்கு நேர்மாறாகத் தோன்றினாலும், அவர் சொன்னதை நிச்சயமாகச் செய்வார். அவர் எப்போதும் சரியான நேரத்தில் செய்பவர்.

சிந்திக்க: சூழ்நிலைகள் வறண்டதாகத் தோன்றினாலும், தேவன் என் வாழ்க்கையில் புதிய காரியங்களை செய்வார் என்றும், அவர் குறித்த நேரத்தில் சரியாக நிறைவேற்றுவார் என்றும் நான் நம்புகிறேனா?
