Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. Isaiah 60:1.
In God, there is no darkness at all. He is pure light, and in His grace, He has placed His light within us. We carry His light inside us. If that light is not shining, it means we are not standing up and rising in our spirit.
The Holy Spirit is the oil within us. Just as a lamp needs oil to keep burning, our hearts need the continuous infilling of the Holy Spirit so that we may burn brightly and shine for our Lord God. When we allow the Holy Spirit to work freely within us, our light begins to shine.
As we shine, the glory of the Lord comes upon us, and He leads us from glory to glory. This is the main and most important purpose for which we are still breathing: to reflect His light and His glory in this dark world.
Wherever we stand and wherever we go, let us carry His presence within us, so that we may truly be the light of the world, bringing hope, love, and the glory of God to others.
Reflection: Am I allowing the Spirit within me to energize my inner life, so I rise daily and illuminate my surroundings with hope, purpose, and God’s reflected splendor?
எழும்பிப் பிரகாசி; உன் ஒளிவந்தது, கர்த்தருடைய மகிமை உன்மேல் உதித்தது. ஏசாயா 60:1.
தேவனிடத்தில் எவ்வளவேனும் இருளில்லை. அவர் தூய ஒளியாயிருக்கிறார்; தமது கிருபையினால் அந்த ஒளியை அவர் நமக்குள் வைத்திருக்கிறார். நாம் அவருடைய ஒளியை நமக்குள்ளே சுமந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறோம். அந்த ஒளி பிரகாசிக்கவில்லை என்றால், நாம் ஆவியில் எழும்பி நிற்கவில்லை என்று அர்த்தம்.
பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் நமக்குள் இருக்கும் எண்ணெய் போன்றவர். ஒரு விளக்கு தொடர்ந்து எரிவதற்கு எண்ணெய் எப்படி அவசியமோ, அதேபோல நாம் நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்காக பிரகாசமாக எரிவதற்கும், ஒளிர்வதற்கும் நம்முடைய இருதயங்கள் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரின் தொடர்ச்சியான நிரப்புதலால் நிறைய வேண்டும். பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் நமக்குள்ளே தடையின்றி கிரியை செய்ய நாம் அனுமதிக்கும்போது, நம்முடைய ஒளி பிரகாசிக்கத் தொடங்குகிறது.
நாம் பிரகாசிக்கும்போது, கர்த்தருடைய மகிமை நம்மேல் வருகிறது, மேலும் அவர் நம்மை மகிமையிலிருந்து மகிமைக்கு நடத்துகிறார். இந்த இருண்ட உலகில் அவருடைய ஒளியையும் மகிமையையும் பிரதிபலிப்பதே நாம் இன்னும் உயிர்வாழ்ந்துகொண்டிருப்பதற்கான முதன்மையான மற்றும் மிக முக்கியமான நோக்கமாகும்.
நாம் எங்கே நின்றாலும், எங்கே சென்றாலும், அவருடைய பிரசன்னத்தை நமக்குள்ளே சுமந்து செல்வோமாக. இதன் மூலம் மற்றவர்களுக்கு நம்பிக்கை, அன்பு மற்றும் தேவனுடைய மகிமையைக் கொண்டுவரும் உண்மையான உலகத்தின் ஒளியாக நாம் இருப்போம்.
சிந்திக்க: நான் நாள்தோறும் எழும்பி, நம்பிக்கையோடும், நோக்கத்தோடும், தேவனுடைய மகிமையைப் பிரதிபலிப்பதன் மூலமும் என் சுற்றப்புறத்தை ஒளிரச் செய்து, அதன் மூலம் என் உள்ளான வாழ்விற்குப் புத்துயிர் அளிக்க எனக்குள் இருக்கும் ஆவியானவரை நான் அனுமதிக்கிறேனா?
