Blog Y3 777 - "Joyful Trustful Living"

Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer. Romans 12:12. 

Our hope and trust should be in our God alone. When we place our hope in anything other than Him, we become truly helpless, for everything in this world is uncertain and unstable. Nothing remains unchanging except our precious and faithful Lord.

When we begin to put our complete trust in God, we will rejoice in Him, and the joy of the Lord will become our strength. When we are persecuted for witnessing to our Lord God and Father, we must ask Him to fill our hearts with patience. If we truly love Him, then even persecution will not discourage us; like the Apostle Paul, we will learn to count it as joy, for our God reminds us to remain fervent and steadfast in prayer.

These are the beautiful instructions of our Lord Jesus:
First, to place our trust in Him and rejoice in Him.
Second, to be patient when we suffer for His name’s sake.
Finally, to continue in an intimate relationship with God through constant and devoted prayer.

May the Holy Spirit give us the strength and grace to follow these perfect instructions, so that our lives may glorify God.

Reflection: Am I choosing steady confidence, patient endurance, and faithful prayer, so that inner strength sustains me even when following Christ brings difficulty and opposition?

நம்பிக்கையிலே சந்தோஷமாயிருங்கள்; உபத்திரவத்திலே பொறுமையாயிருங்கள்; ஜெபத்திலே உறுதியாய்த் தரித்திருங்கள். ரோமர் 12:12.

நம்முடைய நம்பிக்கையும் விசுவாசமும் நம்முடைய தேவன் மேல் மட்டுமே இருக்க வேண்டும். அவரைத் தவிர வேறு எதன் மீதாவது நாம் நம்பிக்கை வைக்கும்போது, நாம் உண்மையிலேயே திக்கற்றவர்களாகிறோம்; ஏனெனில் இந்த உலகில் உள்ள அனைத்தும் நிச்சயமற்றவை மற்றும் நிலையற்றவை. நம்முடைய விலையேறப்பெற்ற மற்றும் உண்மையுள்ள கர்த்தரைத் தவிர வேறு எதுவுமே மாறாமல் நிலைத்திருப்பதில்லை.

நாம் தேவன் மீது முழுமையான நம்பிக்கையை வைக்கத் தொடங்கும்போது, அவரில் நாம் களிகூருவோம், கர்த்தருக்குள் மகிழ்ச்சியாயிருப்பதே நமது பலமாகும். நம்முடைய பிதாவாகிய தேவனுக்குச் சாட்சியாக இருப்பதற்காக நாம் துன்புறுத்தப்படும்போது, நம் இருதயங்களைப் பொறுமையால் நிரப்பும்படி அவரிடம் கேட்க வேண்டும். நாம் உண்மையிலேயே அவரை நேசித்தால், துன்புறுத்தல்கள் கூட நம்மைத் தளர்ச்சியடையச் செய்யாது; அப்போஸ்தலனாகிய பவுலைப் போல, நாமும் அதை மகிழ்ச்சியாக எண்ணக் கற்றுக்கொள்வோம். ஏனெனில், ஜெபத்தில் ஆர்வமாகவும் உறுதியாகவும் நிலைத்திருக்குமாறு நம் தேவன் நமக்கு நினைவூட்டுகிறார்.

நமது கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுவின் அழகான அறிவுறுத்தல்கள் இவையே: முதலாவதாக, அவர் மீது நம்பிக்கை வைத்து அவரில் மகிழ்ச்சியாயிருப்பது. இரண்டாவதாக, அவருடைய நாமத்தினிமித்தம் நாம் பாடுபடும்போது பொறுமையாய் இருப்பது. 

இறுதியாக, இடைவிடாத மற்றும் அர்ப்பணிப்புள்ள ஜெபத்தின் மூலம் தேவனோடு ஒரு நெருக்கமான உறவில் நிலைத்திருப்பது.

பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் இந்த உன்னதமான அறிவுறுத்தல்களைப் பின்பற்றுவதற்கான பலத்தையும் கிருபையையும் நமக்குத் தந்தருளுவாராக, அதன் மூலம் நம் வாழ்வு தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்தட்டும்.

சிந்திக்க: கிறிஸ்துவைப் பின்பற்றுவதால் சிரமங்களும் எதிர்ப்புகளும் வரும்போதும், எனக்குள்ளிருக்கும் பலம் என்னை நிலைநிறுத்தும் வகையில் — நிலையான நம்பிக்கை, பொறுமையான சகிப்புத்தன்மை மற்றும் விசுவாசமான ஜெபம் ஆகியவற்றை நான் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கிறேனா?
