Blog Y3 781 - "Rooted for Lasting Fruit"

Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing. Psalm 92:13–14. 

In this world, we may be planted in many places, and those places may bring worldly blessings and possessions to some extent. But the One in whose house we are planted is the Lord Himself, the Ruler, the King of kings, and the Lord of lords, the Creator and Controller of our lives. When we choose to dwell in God’s presence, through worship, His Word, and fellowship, our lives draw nourishment from Him. This rooted life produces spiritual stability, even when circumstances shift, because our strength comes from where we are planted, not from what surrounds us.

Worldly places may sometimes bring happiness and sometimes disappointment; they rise and fall. But this verse promises that when we are planted in the house of the Lord, we will flourish like the palm tree and grow strong like the cedar in Lebanon. Even under challenging seasons and in old age, we will continue to bear fruit. We will remain fresh, flourishing, anointed, and fruitful until our last breath.

Most comforting is the assurance that fruitfulness does not fade with age. Even in later seasons of life, those rooted in the Lord remain spiritually alive, productive, and vibrant. Therefore, let us choose to be planted in His courts alone and live as a blessing to others.

Reflection: Am I choosing to remain firmly rooted in God’s presence so I can continue to grow strong and fruitful in every season, regardless of changing surroundings or advancing years?

கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தில் நாட்டப்பட்டவர்கள் எங்கள் தேவனுடைய பிரகாரங்களில் செழித்திருப்பார்கள். அவர்கள் முதிர்வயதிலும் கனி தந்து, புஷ்டியும் பசுமையுமாய் இருப்பார்கள். சங்கீதம் 92:13, 15

இந்த உலகில் நாம் பல இடங்களில் நாட்டப்பட்டிருக்கலாம், அந்த இடங்கள் ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட அளவிற்கு உலகளாவிய ஆசீர்வாதங்களையும் சொத்துக்களையும் கொண்டு வரக்கூடும். ஆனால் நாம் கர்த்தராகிய தேவன்; நம்மை ஆளுகைசெய்பவர், ராஜாதி ராஜா, கர்த்தாதி கர்த்தர், நம்மை உருவாக்கி வழிநடத்துகிறவர் வீட்டில் நாட்டப்பட்டிருக்கிறோம். ஆராதனை, தேவனுடைய வார்த்தை மற்றும் ஐக்கியத்தின் மூலம் நாம் தேவனுடைய முன்னிலையில் வாழத் தெரிந்துகொள்ளும்போது, நம் வாழ்வு அவரிடமிருந்து ஊட்டச்சத்தைப் பெறுகிறது. இத்தகைய வேரூன்றிய வாழ்க்கை, சூழ்நிலைகள் மாறினாலும் ஆவிக்குரிய ஸ்திரத்தன்மையை அளிக்கிறது. ஏனெனில் நமது பலம் நம்மைச் சுற்றியுள்ளவற்றிலிருந்து அல்ல, நாம் எங்கே நாட்டப்பட்டிருக்கிறோம் என்பதிலிருந்தே வருகிறது.

உலகம் சார்ந்த இடங்கள் சில நேரங்களில் மகிழ்ச்சியையும், சில நேரங்களில் ஏமாற்றத்தையும் தரலாம்; அவை ஏற்றத்தாழ்வுகளைக் கொண்டவை. ஆனால் இந்த வசனம் வாக்குறுதி அளிப்பது என்னவென்றால், நாம் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தில் நாட்டப்படும்போது, பேரீச்ச மரத்தைப் போலச் செழித்து, லீபனோனிலுள்ள கேதுருவைப் போல வளருவோம். சவாலான காலங்களிலும் முதிர்வயதிலும் நாம் தொடர்ந்து கனி கொடுப்போம். நமது கடைசி மூச்சு வரை நாம் பசுமையாகவும், செழிப்பாகவும், அபிஷேகம் பண்ணப்பட்டவர்களாகவும், பலன் தருகிறவர்களாகவும் இருப்போம்.

மிகவும் ஆறுதலான விஷயம் என்னவென்றால், கனி கொடுக்கும் தன்மை வயதுக்கேற்ப மங்கிப்போகாது. வாழ்க்கையின் பிற்காலங்களிலும், கர்த்தருக்குள் வேரூன்றியிருப்பவர்கள் ஆவிக்குரிய ரீதியில் உயிருள்ளவர்களாகவும், பயனுள்ளவர்களாகவும், துடிப்புடனும் இருப்பார்கள். எனவே, நாம் அவருடைய பிரகாரங்களில் மட்டுமே நாட்டப்பட்டிருக்கத் தீர்மானிப்போம் மற்றும் மற்றவர்களுக்கு ஆசீர்வாதமாக வாழ்வோம்.

சிந்திக்க: மாறிவரும் சூழ்நிலைகள் அல்லது முதுமையைப் பொருட்படுத்தாமல், எல்லா காலங்களிலும் நான் வலிமையாகவும் கனிவுள்ளவனாகவும் தொடர்ந்து வளர, தேவனுடைய முன்னிலையில் உறுதியாக வேரூன்றி இருக்கத் தீர்மானிக்கிறேனா?
