Blog Y3 786 - "Trusting Beyond Natural Signs"

For thus says the Lord: ‘You shall not see wind, nor shall you see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, so that you, your cattle, and your animals may drink.’ 2 Kings 3:17.

Normally, wind and rain are necessary to nourish the land, to sow seeds, and to bring forth a harvest. Without them, all our efforts would seem vain. That is how science explains it, and that is how our human minds naturally think.

But our God is far beyond science and far beyond the limits of the human mind. Everything is under His control. Nothing is impossible for Him.

When Hagar was wandering in the wilderness with her child, her eyes were closed to the stream of water that was right there. But when God opened her eyes, she saw it, and she experienced the wondrous provision of our God.

In the same way, we may have been praying for a long time, waiting for a miracle to happen. We may not see any signs, any wind, or any rain. Yet our God is the One who can create something out of nothing. That is His amazing power.

At the right time, He will open our eyes to see the wonders and miracles we have been waiting for. Therefore, we do not need to quit or give up on our prayers.

Be still and know that our Lord God is a mighty, miracle-working God.

Reflection: Believing God can accomplish wonders in His timing, even when natural signs appear absent. Am I holding firm in seeking and trusting God to disclose hidden provision?

சாதாரணமாக, நிலத்தைப் போஷிக்கவும், விதை விதைக்கவும், அறுவடையைப் பெறவும் காற்றும் மழையும் அவசியம். அவை இல்லையென்றால், நம்முடைய முயற்சிகள் அனைத்தும் வீணாகத் தோன்றும். அறிவியல் அப்படித்தான் விளக்குகிறது, நம்முடைய மனித மனமும் இயல்பாகவே அப்படித்தான் சிந்திக்கிறது.

ஆனால் நம்முடைய தேவன் அறிவியலுக்கு அப்பாற்பட்டவர் மற்றும் மனித மனதின் எல்லைகளுக்கு எட்டாதவர். அனைத்தும் அவருடைய கட்டுப்பாட்டில் உள்ளது. அவருக்கு இயலாத காரியம் ஒன்றுமில்லை.

ஆகார் தன் குழந்தையுடன் வனாந்தரத்தில் அலைந்து கொண்டிருந்தபோது, அங்கேயே இருந்த நீரூற்றைக் காண முடியாதபடி அவள் கண்கள் மறைக்கப்பட்டிருந்தன. ஆனால் தேவன் அவள் கண்களைத் திறந்தபோது, அவள் அதைக் கண்டாள்; நம்முடைய தேவனின் அற்புதமான பராமரிப்பை அவள் அனுபவித்தாள்.

அதேபோல், நாமும் ஒரு அற்புதத்திற்காக நீண்ட காலமாக ஜெபித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கலாம். எந்த அடையாளத்தையோ, காற்றையோ அல்லது மழையையோ நாம் காணாமல் இருக்கலாம். இருப்பினும், எதுவுமில்லாத ஒன்றிலிருந்து எதையாவது உருவாக்கக்கூடியவர் நம்முடைய தேவன். அதுவே அவருடைய வியக்கத்தக்க வல்லமை.

சரியான நேரத்தில், நாம் காத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கும் அதிசயங்களையும் அற்புதங்களையும் காணும்படி அவர் நம் கண்களைத் திறப்பார். எனவே, நாம் நம் ஜெபங்களைக் கைவிடவோ அல்லது பின்வாங்கவோ தேவையில்லை.

அமர்ந்திருந்து, நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் வல்லமையுள்ளவர் மற்றும் அற்புதம் செய்கிற தேவன் என்பதை அறிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்.

சிந்திக்க: இயற்கையான அடையாளங்கள் தென்படாத போதும், தேவன் தமது காலத்தில் அதிசயங்களைச் செய்ய முடியும் என்று நான் நம்பி தேவன் மறைத்து வைத்திருக்கும் நன்மைகளை வெளிப்படுத்துவார் என்கிற நம்பிக்கையில் உறுதியாக இருந்து அவரைத் தேடுகிறேனா?
