Blog Y3 790 - "Depending on God's Hand"

For I was ashamed to request of the king an escort of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy on the road, because we had spoken to the king, saying, ‘The hand of our God is upon all those for good who seek Him, but His power and His wrath are against all those who forsake Him.’ Ezra 8:22.

Man’s power and God’s power are completely different. Human help can assist us only in our present circumstances, but God’s power knows our future as well. Therefore, His help is always perfect and far greater than anything we can imagine.

Ezra understood the power of God’s mighty hand, how it protects and sustains both physically and spiritually. He was ashamed to ask the king for protection because he had already testified about God’s power and faithfulness. To depend on human help after declaring trust in God would have contradicted his faith.

Even today, though we know God’s power to protect and guide us, we sometimes rush to seek worldly help first. But God desires that we depend completely on Him. When problems arise, we should not immediately reach for our phones to seek help from others. First, we must run to God and to His throne of grace.

God will guide us, and in His perfect timing, He will use people and even angels to protect and lead us. Ezra sought God’s help through fasting and prayer (Ezra 8:23), and the Lord answered him.

Let us also come boldly to His throne. His mighty, marvelous hand is always ready to help us in amazing ways.

Reflection: Am I choosing to rely on God first in every challenge, trusting His unseen guidance before turning to people, and learning to seek Him through fasting and prayer?

வழியிலே சத்துருவை விலக்கி, எங்களுக்குத் துணைசெய்யும்படிக்கு, நான் ராஜாவினிடத்தில் சேவகரையும் குதிரைவீரரையும் கேட்க வெட்கப்பட்டிருந்தேன்; எங்கள் தேவனுடைய கரம் தம்மைத் தேடுகிறவர்கள் எல்லார்மேலும் அவர்களுக்கு நன்மையாக இருக்கிறதென்றும், அவருடைய வல்லமையும் அவருடைய கோபமும் அவரைவிட்டு விலகுகிறவர்கள் எல்லார்மேலும் இருக்கிறதென்றும், நாங்கள் ராஜாவுக்குச் சொல்லியிருந்தோம். எஸ்றா 8:22.

மனுஷனுடைய வல்லமையும் தேவனுடைய வல்லமையும் முற்றிலும் வேறுபட்டவை. மனித உதவி நமது தற்போதைய சூழ்நிலைகளில் மட்டுமே நமக்கு உதவக்கூடும், ஆனால் தேவனுடைய வல்லமையோ நமது எதிர்காலத்தையும் அறிந்திருக்கிறது. எனவே, அவருடைய உதவி எப்போதும் பரிபூரணமானது மற்றும் நாம் கற்பனை செய்வதை விட மிகப் பெரியது.

தேவனுடைய வல்லமையுள்ள கரம் எவ்வாறு சரீர ரீதியாகவும் ஆவிக்குரிய ரீதியாகவும் பாதுகாத்துத் தாங்குகிறது என்பதை எஸ்றா புரிந்திருந்தார். அவர் ஏற்கனவே தேவனுடைய வல்லமையையும் உண்மையையும் குறித்து சாட்சி சொல்லியிருந்ததால், பாதுகாப்புக்காக ராஜாவினிடத்தில் உதவி கேட்க வெட்கப்பட்டார். தேவன் மேல் நம்பிக்கை இருப்பதாக அறிவித்த பிறகு, மனித உதவியைச் சார்ந்திருப்பது அவருடைய விசுவாசத்திற்கு முரணாக இருந்திருக்கும்.

இன்றும் கூட, நம்மைப் பாதுகாக்கவும் வழிநடத்தவும் தேவனுக்கு வல்லமை உண்டு என்பதை நாம் அறிந்திருந்தாலும், சில நேரங்களில் உலகப் பிரகாரமான உதவியைத் தேடி நாம் முதலில் ஓடுகிறோம். ஆனால் நாம் முழுமையாகத் தன்மேல் சார்ந்திருக்க வேண்டும் என்று தேவன் விரும்புகிறார். பிரச்சினைகள் எழும்போது, மற்றவர்களிடம் உதவி பெறுவதற்காக உடனே நம் தொலைபேசிகளை எடுக்கக்கூடாது. முதலில், நாம் தேவனிடமும் அவருடைய கிருபாசனத்தண்டையிலும் ஓட வேண்டும்.

தேவன் நம்மை வழிநடத்துவார்; அவருடைய சரியான நேரத்தில், நம்மைப் பாதுகாக்கவும் வழிநடத்தவும் அவர் மனிதர்களையும், ஏன் தேவதூதர்களையும் கூட பயன்படுத்துவார். எஸ்றா உபவாசத்தோடும் ஜெபத்தோடும் தேவனுடைய உதவியைத் தேடினார் (எஸ்றா 8:23), கர்த்தர் அவருக்குப் பதிலளித்தார்.

நாமும் அவருடைய சிங்காசனத்தண்டையில் தைரியமாக வருவோம். அவருடைய வல்லமையுள்ள, வியக்கத்தக்க கரம் எப்போதும் நமக்கு அற்புதமான வழிகளில் உதவத் தயாராக இருக்கிறது.

சிந்திக்க: மனிதர்களிடம் திரும்புவதற்கு முன்பாக, தேவனுடைய கண்ணுக்குத் தெரியாத வழிநடத்துதலை நம்பி, உபவாசத்தினாலும் ஜெபத்தினாலும் அவரைத் தேடப் பழகி, ஒவ்வொரு சவாலிலும் நான் முதலில் தேவனைச் சார்ந்திருக்கத் தீர்மானிக்கிறேனா?
