Then she called the name of the Lord who spoke to her, You-Are-the-God-Who-Sees; for she said, ‘Have I also here seen Him who sees me?’ Genesis 16:13.
Ishmael was the seed of Abraham, and because of that, God’s eyes were upon that womb. Truly, God’s eyes move throughout the whole world, but in a very special way, they rest upon His children.
In every step we take, God’s eyes are upon us. Even when Hagar was alone, rejected, and in distress, she was still carrying Abraham’s seed. God showed His favor to her in her brokenness. In that moment of divine encounter, she called Him, “You are the God who sees me.”
Many eyes may watch us in this world; even evil eyes may look upon us, but the God who protects us from every evil gaze always keeps His eyes on us. He neither sleeps nor slumbers. Whether we walk through difficult paths or peaceful seasons, our Father God is constantly watching over us.
This divine awareness helps us to live carefully and keeps us from falling into sin. It reminds us that we are never alone, never forgotten, and never unseen.
Reflection: Do I live each moment aware that I am fully noticed, guarded, and never overlooked, allowing that assurance to guide my choices, strengthen my faith, and keep my heart faithful?
அப்பொழுது அவள்: என்னைக் காண்பவரை நானும் இவ்விடத்தில் கண்டேன் அல்லவா என்று சொல்லி, தன்னோடே பேசின கர்த்தருக்கு நீர் என்னைக் காண்கிற தேவன் என்று பேரிட்டாள். ஆதியாகமம் 16:13.
இஸ்மவேல் ஆபிரகாமின் சந்ததியாக இருந்தான், அதன் காரணமாகவே தேவன் அந்த கர்ப்பத்தின் மேல் தம் கண்களை வைத்திருந்தார். மெய்யாகவே, தேவனுடைய கண்கள் உலகம் முழுவதும் உலாவிக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றன, ஆனால் அவை மிக விசேஷமான முறையில் அவருடைய பிள்ளைகள் மேல் நிலைத்திருக்கின்றன.
நாம் எடுத்துவைக்கும் ஒவ்வொரு அடியிலும் தேவனுடைய கண்கள் நம்மீது இருக்கின்றன. ஆகார் தனிமையாக, ஒதுக்கப்பட்டவளாக, துயரத்தில் இருந்தபோதும், அவள் ஆபிரகாமின் சந்ததியைச் சுமந்துகொண்டிருந்தாள். அவளுடைய உடைந்த மனநிலையில் தேவன் அவளுக்குத் தமது தயவைக் காண்பித்தார். அந்தத் தெய்வீகச் சந்திப்பின் தருணத்தில், அவள் அவரை, "நீர் என்னைக் காண்கிற தேவன்" என்று அழைத்தாள்.
இந்த உலகில் பல கண்கள் நம்மைப் பார்க்கலாம்; தீய கண்கள்கூட நம்மை நோக்கலாம், ஆனால் ஒவ்வொரு தீய பார்வையிலிருந்தும் நம்மைப் பாதுகாக்கும் தேவன் எப்போதும் தம் கண்களை நம்மேல் வைத்திருக்கிறார். அவர் உறங்குவதுமில்லை தூங்குவதுமில்லை. நாம் கடினமான பாதைகளில் நடந்தாலும் சரி, அமைதியான காலங்களைக் கடந்தாலும் சரி, நம்முடைய பிதாவாகிய தேவன் இடைவிடாமல் நம்மைக் கண்காணித்து வருகிறார்.
இந்தத் தெய்வீக விழிப்புணர்வு நாம் கவனமாக வாழ உதவுகிறது மற்றும் பாவத்தில் விழாதபடி நம்மைப் பாதுகாக்கிறது. நாம் ஒருபோதும் தனியாக இல்லை, ஒருபோதும் மறக்கப்படவில்லை, ஒருபோதும் கவனிக்கப்படாமல் இல்லை என்பதை இது நமக்கு நினைவூட்டுகிறது.
சிந்திக்க: என்னை வழிநடத்தவும், என் விசுவாசத்தைப் பலப்படுத்தவும், என் இருதயம் விசுவாசமுடன் இருக்கவும் அனுமதித்து, நான் எப்பொழுதும் கவனிக்கப்படுகிறேன், பாதுகாக்கப்படுகிறேன், ஒருபோதும் புறக்கணிக்கப்படவில்லை என்கிற உறுதியோடு விழிப்புணர்வுடன் ஒவ்வொரு கணமும் வாழ்கிறேனா?

ReplyDeleteHe knows and answers ,as he sees our afflictions.
Hagar had not even begun to pray before God came to her rescue; God answered before she had even called upon His name.
In whatever situation we are in ,let us we have this affirmation that God has not abandoned and forgotten us !
The Lord says He heard Hagar’s affliction, not her prayer (16:11).
This test of faith and trials brings us close to God and teaches us to rely on him and not the resources of the world.
It also teaches us that we are mere mortals and we have limited strengths ,it is Jehovah Jireh who protects us each day !
Our God is El roi = God who sees
