Blog Y3 795 - "Promise of Exaltation"

And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them. Deuteronomy 28:13.

Our God is the Author of everything. He is our loving Father. How blessed and privileged we are to be called His sons and daughters!

Even earthly parents desire their children to succeed. They never wish to see them in last place or living beneath their potential. How much more does our Heavenly Father, who created us in His own image, desire that we rise, flourish, and reflect His glory? He does not delight in seeing His children defeated or diminished. His heart is for us to be the head and not the tail, above and not beneath.

Yes, our present circumstances may not always look like this. At times, we may feel overlooked, forgotten, or left behind. But remember, Joseph. Though he was thrown into a pit and later into prison, God’s plan was never defeated. In due time, the Lord lifted him up and made him a leader, a man of honor and influence. What God promised, He fulfilled.

In the same way, our Father is able to lift us up. He will establish us, honor us, and cause us to stand firm; above only and not beneath. But there is one important condition: we must listen to His voice, heed His commandments, and carefully observe His ways. Obedience positions us for His blessings. When we walk in alignment with Him, it becomes easy for Him to pour out His favor upon our lives.

May God grant us the strength, humility, and grace to do His will, so that we may inherit every promise He has prepared for us.

Reflection: Do I remain faithful and attentive to God’s direction, trusting that even in low seasons He can raise me to influence and honor as I align my life with Him?

இன்று நான் உனக்கு விதிக்கிற உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளவும் அவைகளின்படி நடக்கவும் அவைகளுக்குச் செவிகொடுத்துவந்தால், கர்த்தர் உன்னை வாலாக்காமல் தலையாக்குவார், நீ கீழாகாமல் மேலாவாய்.  உபாகமம் 28:14.

நம் தேவன் எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் காரணகர்த்தர். அவர் நம் அன்புள்ள பிதா. அவருடைய குமாரர்களாகவும் குமாரத்திகளாகவும் அழைக்கப்படுவதற்கு நாம் எவ்வளவு பெரிய பாக்கியத்தையும் சிலாக்கியத்தையும் பெற்றிருக்கிறோம்!

உலகத்திலுள்ள பெற்றோர்களே தங்கள் பிள்ளைகள் வெற்றியடைய வேண்டும் என்று விரும்புகிறார்கள். அவர்கள் ஒருபோதும் தங்கள் பிள்ளைகள் கடைசி இடத்தில் இருப்பதையோ அல்லது அவர்களின் திறமைக்குக் குறைவான நிலையில் வாழ்வதையோ விரும்புவதில்லை. அப்படியிருக்க, நம்மைத் தம்முடைய சாயலாகப் படைத்த நம் பரலோகப் பிதா, நாம் உயர்ந்து, செழித்து, அவருடைய மகிமையை வெளிப்படுத்த வேண்டும் என்று இன்னும் எவ்வளவு அதிகமாக விரும்புவார்? தம் பிள்ளைகள் தோற்றுப்போவதையோ அல்லது ஒடுக்கப்படுவதையோ கண்டு அவர் பிரியப்படுவதில்லை. நாம் வாலாக்காமல் தலையாகவும், கீழாகாமல் மேலாகவும் இருக்க வேண்டும் என்பதே அவருடைய இதயத் துடிப்பு.

உண்மைதான், நம்முடைய தற்போதைய சூழ்நிலைகள் எப்போதும் இந்த வாக்குத்தத்தத்திற்கு ஏற்றார் போலத் தெரியாமல் இருக்கலாம். சில நேரங்களில் நாம் புறக்கணிக்கப்பட்டது போலவோ, மறக்கப்பட்டது போலவோ அல்லது பின்தங்கியது போலவோ உணரலாம். ஆனால், யோசேப்பை நினைத்துப் பாருங்கள். அவர் குழியில் தள்ளப்பட்டு, பின்னர் சிறையில் அடைக்கப்பட்ட போதிலும், அவரைப் பற்றிய தேவனுடைய திட்டம் ஒருபோதும் தோல்வியடையவில்லை. ஏற்ற காலத்தில், கர்த்தர் அவரை உயர்த்தி, ஒரு தலைவனாகவும், கனத்திற்கும் செல்வாக்கிற்கும் உரிய மனிதனாகவும் மாற்றினார். தேவன் எதை வாக்குக் கொடுத்தாரோ, அதை அவர் நிறைவேற்றினார்.

அதே வழியில், நம் பிதா நம்மை உயர்த்த வல்லவராயிருக்கிறார். அவர் நம்மை நிலைப்படுத்தி, கனப்படுத்தி, நாம் கீழாகாமல் மேலாகவே உறுதியாக நிற்கச் செய்வார். ஆனால், அதற்கு ஒரு முக்கியமான நிபந்தனை உண்டு: நாம் அவருடைய சத்தத்திற்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, அவருடைய கற்பனைகளைக் கவனித்து, அவருடைய வழிகளைப் பின்பற்றுவதில் கவனமாக இருக்க வேண்டும். கீழ்ப்படிதல் நம்மை அவருடைய ஆசீர்வாதங்களுக்குத் தகுதியுள்ளவர்களாக மாற்றுகிறது. நாம் அவரோடு இணைந்து நடக்கும்போது, அவர் நம் வாழ்வில் தம்முடைய கிருபையைப் பொழிவது எளிதாகிறது.

தேவன் நமக்காக ஆயத்தம் செய்துள்ள ஒவ்வொரு வாக்குத்தத்தத்தையும் நாம் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளும்படி, அவருடைய சித்தத்தைச் செய்ய அவர் நமக்கு பெலத்தையும், தாழ்மையையும், கிருபையையும் தந்தருளுவாராக.

சிந்திக்க: நான் என் வாழ்க்கையைத் தேவனுக்கு இசைவாக அமைத்துக்கொண்டு, என் வாழ்வின் தாழ்ந்த காலங்களிலும் அவர் என்னை உயர்த்தி, கனத்தையும் செல்வாக்கையும் தருவார் என்று நம்பி, அவருடைய வழிநடத்துதலுக்கு உண்மையாக இருக்கிறேனா?
