Blog Y3 806 - "God's Words Never Fail"

Behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth. And you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spoke concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one word of them has failed. Joshua 23:14.

This was the final testimony of Joshua. As he stood at the end of his journey, he looked back and declared with confidence that not even one of God’s promises had failed. In the same way, one day we too will be able to look back and testify victoriously that every word the Lord has spoken over our lives has surely come to pass.

Our God has given us many precious promises. In Christ Jesus, every one of them is “Yes and Amen.” All His promises are full of life and Spirit. His Word will never return void, but will accomplish the purpose for which He has sent it into our lives.

Joshua meditated on the Law of the Lord day and night, because he knew that God’s Word was his very life. Our God never lies, and He never takes back a promise He has spoken. When He says something, that word is final and unchanging.

If we are holding any promise from God today, let us receive it deeply into our hearts and spirits. That word is not from man, but from the God who created heaven and earth, the Sovereign Lord, the Mighty God. Surely, without fail, it will come to pass.

இதோ, இன்று நான் பூலோகத்தார் எல்லாரும் போகிற வழியே போகிறேன்; உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உங்களுக்காகச் சொன்ன நல்வார்த்தைகளிலெல்லாம் ஒரு வார்த்தையும் தவறிப்போகவில்லை என்பதை உங்கள் முழு இருதயத்தாலும் உங்கள் முழு ஆத்துமாவாலும் அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்கள்; அவைகளெல்லாம் உங்களுக்கு நிறைவேறிற்று; அவைகளில் ஒரு வார்த்தையும் தவறிப்போகவில்லை. யோசுவா 23:14.

இது யோசுவாவின் இறுதி சாட்சியாகும். அவர் தனது வாழ்க்கைப் பயணத்தின் முடிவில் நின்று, திரும்பிப் பார்த்து, தேவனுடைய வாக்குத்தத்தங்களில் ஒன்றுகூடத் தவறிப்போகவில்லை என்று நம்பிக்கையுடன் அறிவித்தார். அதேபோல், ஒரு நாள் நாமும் திரும்பிப் பார்த்து, கர்த்தர் நம் வாழ்வைப் குறித்துச் சொன்ன ஒவ்வொரு வார்த்தையும் நிச்சயமாக நிறைவேறியது என்று வெற்றிகரமாகச் சாட்சி சொல்ல முடியும்.

நம் தேவன் நமக்கு அநேக விலையேறப்பெற்ற வாக்குத்தத்தங்களைத் தந்திருக்கிறார். கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்குள் அவை அனைத்தும் "ஆம் என்றும் ஆமென் என்றும்" இருக்கின்றன. அவருடைய வாக்குத்தத்தங்கள் அனைத்தும் ஜீவனும் ஆவியும் நிறைந்தவை. அவருடைய வார்த்தை ஒருபோதும் வெறுமையாய் அவரிடம் திரும்பாது, அது எதற்காக அனுப்பப்பட்டதோ அந்த நோக்கத்தை நம் வாழ்வில் நிறைவேற்றும்.

தேவனுடைய வார்த்தையே தனது ஜீவன் என்பதை யோசுவா அறிந்திருந்ததால், அவர் கர்த்தருடைய நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தை இரவும் பகலும் தியானித்தார். நம் தேவன் ஒருபோதும் பொய் சொல்லமாட்டார், தான் சொன்ன வாக்குத்தத்தத்தை அவர் ஒருபோதும் திரும்பப் பெறமாட்டார். அவர் ஒன்றைச் சொல்லும்போது, அந்த வார்த்தை இறுதியானது மற்றும் மாறாதது.

இன்று நாம் தேவனிடமிருந்து ஏதேனும் ஒரு வாக்குத்தத்தத்தைப் பெற்றிருந்தால், அதை நம் இருதயங்களிலும் ஆவிகளிலும் ஆழமாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்வோம். அந்த வார்த்தை மனுஷனிடமிருந்து வந்ததல்ல, வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் படைத்த தேவனும், சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள கர்த்தருமாகிய அவரிடமிருந்து வந்தது. நிச்சயமாக, அது தடையின்றி நிறைவேறும்.

சிந்திக்க: தேவனுடைய  வார்த்தைகள் தகுந்த காலத்தில் உங்கள் வாழ்வில் நிறைவேறும் என்பதை நீங்கள் எவ்வாறு விசுவாசித்து, அவர் உரைத்த நிலையான வார்த்தைகள்  உங்கள் வாழ்க்கையில்  பிரதிபலிக்கும் விதங்களை நீங்கள் எவ்வாறு உணருகிறீர்கள்?
