Blog Y3 811 - "Chosen by God's Mercy"

For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. Romans 5:10.

Before we were saved, our condition was defiled and sinful. We were completely separated from our Father God. The Word says we were His enemies, living in rebellion, walking in our own ways, and far from His holiness.

Yet even in that condition:
He saw us.
He loved us.
He did not turn away from us.

Instead, in His immeasurable mercy and grace, He sent His only begotten Son to die a cruel death on the cross. Through the precious sacrifice of Jesus Christ, we were redeemed. Through His blood, we were reconciled. What we could never repair, He restored.

Before we came to Christ, our relationship with God was broken. We had no true access to Him. But through Jesus, the barrier was removed. The veil was torn. Now we can boldly approach the throne of grace.

Christianity is not merely a religion; it is a divine relationship with the living God.

When we truly understand this ultimate truth, our hearts long for our true identity: to be called sons and daughters of God. What an undeserved privilege! We were not worthy to be remembered or loved by Him, yet He chose us.

Therefore, let us remain deeply grateful for this divine relationship. Let us walk daily in this holy connection, nurturing it through prayer, obedience, and surrender, until we reach Heaven, our eternal and permanent home.

Reflection: Are you letting your heart awaken to the love of God that sought you first, and are you allowing that love to reshape how you see your place with Him each day?

நாம் தேவனுக்குச் சத்துருக்களாயிருக்கையில், அவருடைய குமாரனின் மரணத்தினாலே அவருடனே ஒப்புரவாக்கப்பட்டோமானால், ஒப்புரவாக்கப்பட்டபின் நாம் அவருடைய ஜீவனாலே இரட்சிக்கப்படுவது அதிக நிச்சயமாமே. ரோமர் 5:10.

நாம் இரட்சிக்கப்படுவதற்கு முன்பு, நம்முடைய நிலைமை தீட்டுப்பட்டதாகவும் பாவமுள்ளதாகவும் இருந்தது. நாம் நம்முடைய பிதாவாகிய தேவனை விட்டு முற்றிலும் பிரிக்கப்பட்டிருந்தோம். நாம் அவருக்குச் சத்துருக்களாகவும், கலகம் செய்கிறவர்களாகவும், நம்முடைய சொந்த வழிகளில் நடக்கிறவர்களாகவும், அவருடைய பரிசுத்தத்திற்கு வெகு தொலைவிலும் இருந்தோம் என்று வேதம் கூறுகிறது.

ஆயினும், அந்த நிலையிலும்:
அவர் நம்மைப் பார்த்தார்.
அவர் நம்மை நேசித்தார்.
அவர் நம்மை விட்டு விலகிவிடவில்லை.

அதற்குப் பதிலாக, அவருடைய அளவற்ற இரக்கத்தினாலும் கிருபையினாலும், சிலுவையில் கொடிய மரணத்தைச் சந்திக்கத் தம்முடைய ஒரே பேறான குமாரனை அனுப்பினார். இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் விலையேறப்பெற்ற பலியினாலே நாம் மீட்கப்பட்டோம். அவருடைய இரத்தத்தினாலே நாம் ஒப்புரவாக்கப்பட்டோம். நம்மால் ஒருபோதும் சரிசெய்ய முடியாததை அவர் சீர்ப்படுத்தினார்.

நாம் கிறிஸ்துவிடம் வருவதற்கு முன்பு, தேவனோடு நமக்கு இருந்த உறவு முறிந்திருந்தது. அவரை அணுக நமக்கு உண்மையான வழி இல்லை. ஆனால் இயேசுவின் மூலமாக அந்தத் தடை நீக்கப்பட்டது. திரைச்சீலை கிழிக்கப்பட்டது. இப்போது நாம் கிருபாசனத்திற்கு முன்பாக தைரியமாய் வர முடிகிறது.

கிறிஸ்தவம் என்பது வெறும் மதம் அல்ல, அது ஜீவனுள்ள தேவனோடு நமக்கு இருக்கும் ஒரு தெய்விக உறவு.

இந்த உன்னத உண்மையை நாம் உண்மையாகப் புரிந்துகொள்ளும்போது, நம்முடைய இருதயம் நமது உண்மையான அடையாளத்திற்காக ஏங்குகிறது: அதுவே தேவனுடைய குமாரர், குமாரத்திகள் என்று அழைக்கப்படுவது. இது நாம் தகுதியற்றிருந்தும் பெற்ற ஒரு மேன்மையான பாக்கியம்! நாம் அவரால் நினைவுகூரப்படவோ அல்லது நேசிக்கப்படவோ தகுதியற்றவர்களாய் இருந்தோம், ஆனாலும் அவர் நம்மைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டார்.

ஆகவே, இந்தத் தெய்விக உறவிற்காக நாம் எப்போதும் மிகுந்த நன்றியுள்ளவர்களாக இருப்போம். நம்முடைய நித்தியமான மற்றும் நிரந்தரமான வீடாகிய பரலோகத்தை நாம் அடையும் வரை, ஜெபம், கீழ்ப்படிதல் மற்றும் அர்ப்பணிப்பு ஆகியவற்றின் மூலம் இந்தத் தூய உறவை வளர்த்து, ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் இதில் நடப்போமாக.

சிந்திக்க: உங்களை முதன்முதலில் தேடி வந்த தேவனுடைய அன்பிற்கு உங்கள் இருதயத்தைத் திறந்து, அந்த அன்பு, ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் நீங்கள் தேவனோடு கொண்டிருக்கும் இடத்தைப் பற்றிய உங்கள் பார்வையை மாற்றியமைக்க அனுமதிக்கிறீர்களா?
