Blog Y3 816 - "Unshaken in God's power"

You rule the raging of the sea; When its waves rise, You still them.  Psalms 89:9.

What a mighty God we serve! More than that, we are His children.

Yes, our Father is the mightiest in heaven and on earth. When we see the mighty waves of the sea, we feel that nothing can control their power and vigor. When we hear about tsunami waves, we know that no one in this world can control their ferocious strength. But when our God speaks, everything becomes calm. The waves obey His command, because He is the Creator of the mighty ocean.

Our God is the One who walks on the water.

In our lives, we may face many trials that rise like powerful waves, threatening to pull us under. But our loving Father can calm every storm. He throws our sins into the depths of the sea and never allows His children to drown in the ocean of troubles.

When the disciples were traveling with Jesus, a violent storm arose on the sea. The waves were fierce, but our Lord commanded the wind and the sea, and immediately there was a great calm. That same mighty Father now dwells in us.

Reflection: Am I standing firm in God’s power when storms rise against me, and refusing to let fear rule my heart when You are with me?

தேவரீர் சமுத்திரத்தின் பெருமையை ஆளுகிறவர்; அதின் அலைகள் எழும்பும்போது அவைகளை அடங்கப்பண்ணுகிறீர். சங்கீதம் 89:9.

எவ்வளவு வல்லமையுள்ள தேவனை நாம் சேவிக்கிறோம்! அதைவிட மேலாக, நாம் அவருடைய பிள்ளைகளாய் இருக்கிறோம்.

ஆம், நமது பிதா பரலோகத்திலும் பூலோகத்திலும் மகா வல்லமையுள்ளவர். கடலின் பிரம்மாண்டமான அலைகளைப் பார்க்கும்போது, அவற்றின் வேகத்தையும் சக்தியையும் எவராலும் கட்டுப்படுத்த முடியாது என்று நாம் நினைக்கிறோம். சுனாமி அலைகளைப் பற்றி கேள்விப்படும்போது, இந்த உலகில் எவராலும் அவற்றின் உக்கிரமான பலத்தை அடக்க முடியாது என்று நமக்குத் தெரியும். ஆனால், நம் தேவன் ஒரு வார்த்தை பேசினால் போதும், அனைத்தும் அமைதியாகிவிடும். அலைகள் அவருடைய கட்டளைக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகின்றன, ஏனென்றால் அவரே அந்த மகா சமுத்திரத்தைப் படைத்தவர்.

தண்ணீரின் மேல் நடந்து வருபவர் நம்முடைய தேவன்.

நம் வாழ்வில், நம்மை மூழ்கடித்து விடுவது போலப் பலமான அலைகளாகப் பல சோதனைகள் எழும்பக்கூடும். ஆனால் நம்முடைய அன்புள்ள பிதா ஒவ்வொரு புயலையும் அமைதிப்படுத்த வல்லவர். அவர் நம்முடைய பாவங்களைக் கடலின் ஆழத்தில் எறிந்து விடுகிறார், மேலும் தம்முடைய பிள்ளைகளைத் துன்பக் கடலில் மூழ்கிப் போக அவர் ஒருபோதும் அனுமதிப்பதில்லை.

சீஷர்கள் இயேசுவோடு படகில் பயணம் செய்தபோது, கடலில் ஒரு பெரிய புயல் உருவானது. அலைகள் கொடூரமாக இருந்தன, ஆனால் நம்முடைய கர்த்தர் காற்றையும் கடலையும் அதட்டினார், உடனே ஒரு பெரிய அமைதி உண்டானது. அதே வல்லமையுள்ள பிதா இப்போது நமக்குள்ளே வசிக்கிறார்.

சிந்திக்க: புயல்கள் எனக்கு எதிராக எழும்பும் போது, தேவனுடைய  வல்லமையில் நான் உறுதியாக நின்று,  தேவன் என்னுடன் இருக்கும்போது, பயம் என் இருதயத்தை ஆட்சி செய்ய அனுமதிக்காமல் இருக்கிறேனா?
