Blog Y3 819 - "Love that receives us."

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:17.

What a powerful verse filled with hope and assurance!

Sometimes we imagine God as a terrifying judge, always following us with a rod to punish us. But we often fail to understand His amazing grace, mercy, and unfailing love. At the same time, we must remember that God’s grace is not a license to continue in sin. His grace is given to us so that we may escape from sin, overcome it, and live a holy life.

Our Lord Jesus Christ came into this world to save and redeem us, not to condemn us. God revealed His unchanging love by sending His only begotten Son for our salvation. He desires that we may one day reign with Him forever and ever.

Yet many times we stray from Him, becoming attached to the temporary things of this world. But this world will not last forever. The Scriptures tell us that the present world will one day pass away and face judgment by fire. Only eternal life will remain forever. 

If we truly understand the reality of eternity, we will not run after the things of this world. Instead, we will fix our eyes on Christ. A glorious and joyful eternal life is waiting for us!

Let us keep our focus on Jesus Christ and prepare our hearts to inherit His Kingdom.

Reflection: Are you turning from distractions that pull you away, choosing instead to stand firm in the hope God offers and fix your heart on what endures forever?

உலகத்தை ஆக்கினைக்குள்ளாகத் தீர்க்கும்படி தேவன் தம்முடைய குமாரனை உலகத்தில் அனுப்பாமல், அவராலே உலகம் இரட்சிக்கப்படுவதற்காகவே அவரை அனுப்பினார்.  யோவான் 3:17

நம்பிக்கையும் நிச்சயமும் நிறைந்த எவ்வளவு வல்லமையான வசனம்!

சில சமயங்களில், நம்மைத் தண்டிப்பதற்காக எப்போதும் கையில் பிரம்புடன் பின்தொடரும் ஒரு பயங்கரமான நியாயாதிபதியாக நாம் தேவனை உருவகப்படுத்திக் கொள்கிறோம். ஆனால், அவருடைய ஆச்சரியமான கிருபையையும், இரக்கத்தையும், மாறாத அன்பையும் புரிந்துகொள்ள நாம் பல நேரங்களில் தவறிவிடுகிறோம். அதே வேளையில், தேவனுடைய கிருபை என்பது பாவத்தில் தொடர்ந்து நிலைத்திருப்பதற்கான அனுமதி அல்ல என்பதை நாம் நினைவில் கொள்ள வேண்டும். நாம் பாவத்திலிருந்து விடுதலைப்பெற்று, அதை மேற்கொண்டு, பரிசுத்த வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வதற்காகவே அவருடைய கிருபை நமக்கு அருளப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து நம்மை ஆக்கினைக்குள்ளாகத் தீர்ப்பதற்காக அல்ல, நம்மை இரட்சித்து மீட்பதற்காகவே இந்த உலகத்திற்கு வந்தார். தேவன் தமது ஒரேபேறான குமாரனை நம்முடைய இரட்சிப்புக்காக அனுப்பியதன் மூலம் தமது மாறாத அன்பை வெளிப்படுத்தினார். நாம் என்றென்றைக்குமாக அவருடன் ஆளுகை செய்ய வேண்டும் என்பதே அவருடைய விருப்பமாகும்.

ஆனாலும், பல நேரங்களில் நாம் அவரை விட்டு விலகி, இந்த உலகத்தின் தற்காலிகமான காரியங்களோடு ஐக்கியமாகி விடுகிறோம். ஆனால் இந்த உலகம் நிரந்தரமானதல்ல. தற்போதைய உலகம் ஒருநாள் ஒழிந்துபோகும் என்றும், அக்கினியினால் நியாயத்தீர்ப்பை சந்திக்கும் என்றும் வேதவசனங்கள் நமக்குக் கூறுகின்றன. நித்திய ஜீவன் மட்டுமே என்றென்றைக்கும் நிலைத்திருக்கும்.

நித்தியத்தின் யதார்த்தத்தை நாம் உண்மையாகவே புரிந்துகொண்டால், இந்த உலகத்தின் காரியங்களுக்குப் பின்னால் நாம் ஓடமாட்டோம். அதற்குப் பதிலாக, நாம் கிறிஸ்துவின் மீது நம் கண்களைப் பதிப்போம். மகிமையும் மகிழ்ச்சியும் நிறைந்த ஒரு நித்திய ஜீவன் நமக்காகக் காத்திருக்கிறது!

நம்முடைய கவனத்தை இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் மீது வைப்போம், அவருடைய ராஜ்யத்தைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ள நம் இருதயங்களை ஆயத்தப்படுத்துவோம்.

சிந்திக்க: உங்களை தேவனை விட்டுப் பிரிக்கிற கவனச் சிதறல்களை விட்டுவிட்டு, தேவன் அளிக்கும் நம்பிக்கையில் உறுதியாக நிற்கத் தீர்மானித்து, என்றென்றைக்கும் நிலைத்திருக்கும் காரியங்களின் மீது உங்கள் இருதயத்தை நிலைநிறுத்துகிறீர்களா?
