Blog Y3 833 - "Hosanna in My Heart"

Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest! Luke 19:38.

Lent is not directly mentioned in the Scriptures.

Yes, our Lord Jesus fasted for forty days before He began His ministry. While Lent as a season is a tradition, it is still good for us to set apart time to fast, reflect, and remember the significance of the Cross and the sacrifice of our Savior.

However, the event of Palm Sunday is recorded in all four Gospels. It is a triumphant procession, our King entering Jerusalem in fulfillment of the prophecy in Zechariah chapter 9.

“Rejoice greatly… Behold, your King is coming to you…” (Zechariah 9:9)

Yes, our King is coming to make us rejoice! Hosanna is not only a shout of joy, praise, and worship, but it is also a cry for help, meaning, “Lord, save us!”

Through this, we see that Jesus, the King of kings, is the promised Messiah, giving us the full assurance of redemption and salvation, not only for us, but also for our loved ones. This hope is also reflected in Zechariah 9:11–12.

So let us joyfully proclaim:
Hosanna to the King of kings!
Blessed is He who comes to save and redeem us!

All glory and honor be to our Lord Jesus Christ!

Though this meditation may come a little after Palm Sunday, every day is an opportunity to glorify God and lift up His name by singing "Hosanna!" Hosanna in the highest!

Reflection: Do I stand in bold faith, declaring Jesus Christ’s greatness with conviction, recognizing the King who enters my life with power to save, transform, and lead me into His purpose?

கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தினாலே வருகிற ராஜா ஸ்தோத்திரிக்கப்பட்டவர், பரலோகத்திலே சமாதானமும் உன்னதத்திலே மகிமையும் உண்டாவதாக என்று மிகுந்த சத்தத்தோடே தேவனைப் புகழ்ந்தார்கள். லூக்கா 19:38.

லென்ட் (தவக்காலம்) என்பது வேதாகமத்தில் நேரடியாகக் குறிப்பிடப்படவில்லை.

ஆம், நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு தமது ஊழியத்தைத் தொடங்குவதற்கு முன் நாற்பது நாட்கள் உபவாசம் இருந்தார். தவக்காலம் ஒரு பாரம்பரியமாக இருந்தாலும், நாம் உபவாசிக்கவும், சிந்திக்கவும், சிலுவையின் முக்கியத்துவத்தையும் நம் மீட்பரின் தியாகத்தையும் நினைவுகூரவும் நேரத்தை ஒதுக்குவது நல்லது.

இருப்பினும், குருத்தோலை ஞாயிறு நிகழ்வு நான்கு சுவிசேஷங்களிலும் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. சகரியா 9-ம் அதிகாரத்தில் உள்ள தீர்க்கதரிசனத்தை நிறைவேற்றும் விதமாக நம் ராஜா எருசலேமுக்குள் நுழைவது ஒரு வெற்றிப் பவனியாகும்.

“மிகவும் களிகூரு... இதோ, உன் ராஜா உன்னிடத்தில் வருகிறார்…” (சகரியா 9:9)

ஆம், நம் ராஜா நம்மை மகிழச் செய்ய வருகிறார்! ஓசன்னா என்பது மகிழ்ச்சி, துதி மற்றும் ஆராதனையின் முழக்கம் மட்டுமல்ல, அது "ஆண்டவரே, எங்களை இரட்சியும்!" என்ற உதவிக்கான கூக்குரலும் ஆகும்.

இதிலிருந்து, ராஜாக்களின் ராஜாவான இயேசுவே வாக்குத்தத்தம் பண்ணப்பட்ட மேசியா என்பதையும், நமக்காக மட்டுமல்ல, நம் அன்பானவர்களுக்கும் மீட்பு மற்றும் இரட்சிப்பின் முழு நிச்சயத்தை அவர் தருகிறார் என்பதையும் நாம் காண்கிறோம். இந்த நம்பிக்கை சகரியா 9:11–12 வசனங்களிலும் பிரதிபலிக்கிறது.

எனவே நாம் மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் அறிவிப்போம்:
ராஜாதி ராஜாவுக்கு ஓசன்னா!
நம்மை இரட்சிக்கவும் மீட்கவும் வருகிறவர் ஸ்தோத்திரிக்கப்பட்டவர்!

எல்லா மகிமையையும் கனமும் நம் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவுக்கே உண்டாவதாக!

இந்த தியானம் குருத்தோலை ஞாயிறு முடிந்து சற்று தாமதமாக வந்தாலும், ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் "ஓசன்னா!" என்று பாடி, தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்தவும், அவருடைய நாமத்தை உயர்த்தவும் நமக்குக் கிடைக்கும் ஒரு நல்வாய்ப்பாகும். உன்னதத்திலே ஓசன்னா!

சிந்தனைக்கு: என்னை இரட்சிக்கவும், மாற்றவும், இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின்  நோக்கத்திற்குள் என்னை வழிநடத்தவும் வல்லமையோடு என் வாழ்க்கையில் நுழையும் ராஜாவை அடையாளம் கண்டு, உறுதியான விசுவாசத்தில் நிலைத்து நின்று, அவருடைய மகத்துவத்தை முழு நம்பிக்கையோடு நான் அறிவிக்கிறேனா?
