Blog Y3 837 - "Love that Transforms Me"

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. John 13:34.

Our loving Heavenly Father has shown us the perfect model of love. He loved us even before we knew Him, yet we still struggle to love others as we should.

Only Lord Jesus is the most beautiful and perfect example of true love. He came into this world as a human, lived among us for 33 years, and ultimately gave His life to reveal what perfect love looks like.

Even knowing that Peter would deny Him and Judas would betray Him, Jesus still humbled Himself and washed the feet of all His disciples. What an unfathomable love!

Wherever He went, He was moved with compassion. He healed, restored, and embraced the broken. And in His final moments on the cross, He prayed to the Father, asking forgiveness for those who crucified Him. Until His very last breath, He loved without condition. That is why He said in John 13:15: “For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.” What an amazing and divine love He has modeled for us!

Let us pray like this: Lord Jesus, You are our perfect example. Teach us to love as You have loved, with humility, forgiveness, and compassion. Help us to love even when it is difficult, even when we are hurt. Let the beauty of Jesus be seen in us. May the world see You in us through our words, our actions, and our love. Let Your compassion be revealed through our lives. Amen.

Reflection: How do I respond to others to reveal my heart? Am I choosing humility, patience, and forgiveness in a way that reflects the love Jesus showed even when it was difficult?

அன்பான பரம பிதா அன்பின் சரியான முன்மாதிரியை நமக்குக் காண்பித்திருக்கிறார். நாம் அவரை அறிந்துகொள்வதற்கு முன்பே அவர் நம்மை நேசித்தார், ஆனாலும் மற்றவர்களை நாம் நேசிக்க வேண்டிய விதத்தில் நேசிக்க இன்னும் நாம் போராடுகிறோம்.

உண்மையான அன்பின் மிகவும் அழகான மற்றும் பரிபூரணமான முன்மாதிரி கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு மட்டுமே. அவர் ஒரு மனிதனாக இந்த உலகத்திற்கு வந்து, 33 ஆண்டுகள் நம்மிடையே வாழ்ந்து, இறுதியாக பரிபூரண அன்பு எப்படி இருக்கும் என்பதை வெளிப்படுத்த தமது ஜீவனையே கொடுத்தார்.

பேதுரு தம்மை மறுதலிப்பான் என்றும், யூதாஸ் தம்மைக் காட்டிக்கொடுப்பான் என்றும் அறிந்திருந்தும், இயேசு தம்மைத் தாமே தாழ்த்தி தமது சீஷர்கள் அனைவரின் பாதங்களையும் கழுவினார். இது எவ்வளவு அளவிட முடியாத அன்பு!

அவர் சென்ற இடமெல்லாம் மனதுருகினார். அவர் குணமாக்கினார், சீர்ப்படுத்தினார், உடைக்கப்பட்டவர்களை அணைத்துக்கொண்டார். சிலுவையில் தமது இறுதித் தருணங்களில், தம்மைச் சிலுவையில் அறைந்தவர்களுக்காக மன்னிப்பு வேண்டி பிதாவிடம் ஜெபித்தார். தமது கடைசி மூச்சு வரை, அவர் நிபந்தனையின்றி நேசித்தார். அதனால்தான் யோவான் 13:15-ல் அவர் இவ்வாறு கூறினார்: "நான் உங்களுக்குச் செய்ததுபோல நீங்களும் செய்யும்படி உங்களுக்கு மாதிரியைக் காண்பித்தேன்." அவர் நமக்காக எத்தகைய ஆச்சரியமான மற்றும் தெய்வீக அன்பை முன்மாதிரியாகக் காண்பித்திருக்கிறார்!

நாம் இவ்வாறு ஜெபிப்போம்: கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுவே, நீரே எங்களின் பரிபூரண முன்மாதிரி. தாழ்மையுடனும், மன்னிப்புடனும், மனதுருக்கத்துடனும், நீர் நேசித்தது போல நாங்களும் நேசிக்க எங்களுக்குக் கற்றுத்தாரும். கடினமாக இருக்கும்போதும், நாங்கள் காயப்படும்போதும் நேசிக்க எங்களுக்கு உதவுங்கள். இயேசுவின் அழகு எங்களில் காணப்படட்டும். எங்கள் வார்த்தைகள், எங்கள் செயல்கள் மற்றும் எங்கள் அன்பின் மூலம் உலகம் உங்களை எங்களில் காணட்டும். உமது மனதுருக்கம் எங்கள் வாழ்வின் மூலம் வெளிப்படட்டும். ஆமென்.

சிந்திக்க: என் இருதயத்தை வெளிப்படுத்தும் வகையில் மற்றவர்களிடம் நான் எப்படி நடந்துகொள்கிறேன்? கடினமான சூழ்நிலைகளிலும் இயேசு காண்பித்த அன்பைப் பிரதிபலிக்கும் வகையில், நான் தாழ்மை, பொறுமை மற்றும் மன்னிப்பைத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கிறேனா?
