Now within three days Pharaoh will lift up your head and restore you to your place, and you will put Pharaoh’s cup in his hand according to the former manner, when you were his butler. Genesis 40:13.
Proverbs 22:29 says, “Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men.”
In our daily lives, whether at home or at work, we are called to serve faithfully and sincerely, not just before people but especially before God.
The cupbearer in Pharaoh’s court may have been forgotten by people for a time, but he was never forgotten by God. The Lord saw his service, his position, and his situation. At the appointed time, God restored him and lifted him back to honor.
In the same way, when we do our work with diligence, integrity, and a genuine heart, God takes notice. Even when no one is watching us, our Heavenly Father sees everything, not only our actions but also our thoughts and intentions.
Reflection: Am I serving with a sincere heart even when no one notices, trusting that the God who sees my hidden efforts will lift me in His perfect time?
மூன்று நாளைக்குள்ளே பார்வோன் உன் தலையை உயர்த்தி, உன்னை மறுபடியும் உன் நிலையிலே நிறுத்துவார்; முன்னே அவருக்குப் பானம் கொடுத்துவந்த வழக்கத்தின்படி பார்வோனின் பாத்திரத்தை அவர் கையிலே கொடுப்பாய். ஆதியாகமம் 40:13.
நீதிமொழிகள் 22:29 கூறுகிறது, "தன் வேலையில் ஜாக்கிரதையாயிருக்கிறவனை நீ கண்டால், அவன் நீசருக்கு முன்பாக நில்லாமல், ராஜாக்களுக்கு முன்பாக நிற்பான்."
நம்முடைய அன்றாட வாழ்வில், வீட்டிலோ அல்லது வேலை செய்யும் இடத்திலோ, மனிதர்களுக்கு முன்பாக மட்டுமல்லாமல், முக்கியமாக தேவனுக்கு முன்பாக உண்மையோடும் ஆத்மார்த்தமாகவும் செயல்படும்படி நாம் அழைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறோம்.
பார்வோனின் அரண்மனையிலிருந்த பானபாத்திரக்காரன் ஒருவேளை சிலகாலம் மனிதர்களால் மறக்கப்பட்டிருக்கலாம், ஆனால் அவன் ஒருபோதும் தேவனால் மறக்கப்படவில்லை. கர்த்தர் அவனுடைய சேவையையும், அவனுடைய நிலையையும், அவனுடைய சூழ்நிலையையும் கண்டார். குறித்த நேரத்தில், தேவன் அவனைப் பழையபடி நிலைநிறுத்தி, மீண்டும் கனத்திற்கு உயர்த்தினார்.
அதேபோல, நாம் நம்முடைய வேலையை விடாமுயற்சியோடும், உத்தமத்தோடும், உண்மையான இருதயத்தோடும் செய்யும்போது, தேவன் அதைக் கவனிக்கிறார். யாரும் நம்மைப் பார்க்காதபோதும், நம்முடைய பரலோகப் பிதா எல்லாவற்றையும் காண்கிறார்; நம்முடைய செயல்களை மட்டுமல்ல, நம்முடைய எண்ணங்களையும் நோக்கங்களையும் அவர் காண்கிறார்.
சிந்திக்க: யாரும் கவனிக்காதபோதும்புகூட நான் உண்மையான இருதயத்தோடு வேலை செய்து, என் நேர்மையான முயற்சிகளைக் காணும் தேவன் தமக்கு சித்தமான நேரத்தில் என்னை உயர்த்துவார் என்று நம்புகிறேனா?

Joseph interpreted this as restoration to his position within three days.
The cupbearer acts as the connection point to get Joseph out of prison and before Pharaoh.
2)Esther 6:1 marks a pivotal turning point where sleeplessness strikes King Ahasuerus on the night before Haman plans to execute Mordecai. Unable to sleep, the king orders the official records to be read, leading him to discover that Mordecai was never rewarded for saving his life.Tables turn and Haman’s plot is executed on himself !
3)Nehemiah 2:19 -describes the opposition Nehemiah faced from Sanballat the Horonite, Tobiah the Ammonite official, and Geshem the Arab when rebuilding Jerusalem's walls. They mocked, despised, and accused him of rebelling against the king. Doing God's work often brings resistance, which Nehemiah met with faith and confidence in God's providence.
-When we do our work with diligence, integrity, and a genuine heart, God takes notice! In God we trust as the battle belongs to the lord ! Amen
