A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver. Proverbs 25:11.
Words are very powerful, especially when they come from the mouth of God’s children. They carry life, influence, and impact more than we often realize.
We are human, and many times we do not know how to speak the right word at the right time. If we speak words that are not appropriate, they can create confusion, pain, or even great chaos. That is why we need godly wisdom in every moment of our speech.
We also need to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Without His guidance, we cannot speak the right words in the right place at the right time. It is the Holy Spirit who teaches us, reminds us, and leads us into truth and wisdom.
As James 1:5 says, if anyone lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given.
Truly, the right word spoken at the right time is precious, like golden apples displayed in a silver setting, beautiful and valuable in God’s sight.
Let us therefore ask our Heavenly Father to fill us with His wisdom and the Holy Spirit, so that our words may always be pleasing, timely, and edifying to others.
Reflection: Am I seeking God’s guidance before I speak, allowing the Spirit to shape my words so they bring clarity, comfort, and strength to those who hear them?
ஏற்ற சமயத்தில் சொன்ன வார்த்தை வெள்ளித்தட்டில் வைக்கப்பட்ட பொற்பழங்களுக்குச் சமானம். நீதிமொழிகள் 25:11.
வார்த்தைகள் மிகவும் வல்லமையானவை, விசேஷமாக அவை தேவனுடைய பிள்ளைகளின் வாயிலிருந்து புறப்படும்போது. நாம் உணருவதைக் காட்டிலும் அவை ஜீவனையும், செல்வாக்கையும், தாக்கத்தையும் தன்னுள் கொண்டிருக்கின்றன.
நாம் மனிதர்கள், பல நேரங்களில் சரியான நேரத்தில் சரியான வார்த்தையை எப்படிப் பேசுவது என்று நமக்குத் தெரிவதில்லை. நாம் பொருத்தமற்ற வார்த்தைகளைப் பேசினால், அவை குழப்பத்தையும், வேதனையையும் அல்லது பெரும் கலக்கத்தையும் கூட உருவாக்கலாம். அதனால்தான் நாம் பேசும் ஒவ்வொரு தருணத்திலும் நமக்கு தெய்வீக ஞானம் தேவைப்படுகிறது.
நாம் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரால் நிரப்பப்படவும் வேண்டும். அவருடைய வழிகாட்டுதல் இல்லாமல், சரியான நேரத்தில், சரியான இடத்தில், சரியான வார்த்தைகளை நம்மால் பேச முடியாது. பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரே நமக்குப் போதித்து, நினைப்பூட்டி, சத்தியத்திலும் ஞானத்திலும் நம்மை வழிநடத்துகிறார்.
யாக்கோபு 1:5 சொல்வது போல், “உங்களில் ஒருவன் ஞானத்தில் குறைவுள்ளவனாயிருந்தால், யாவருக்கும் சம்பூரணமாய்க் கொடுக்கிறவரும் ஒருவனையும் கடிந்துகொள்ளாதவருமாகிய தேவனிடத்தில் கேட்கக்கடவன், அப்பொழுது அவனுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்படும்.”
உண்மையாகவே, சரியான நேரத்தில் பேசப்படும் சரியான வார்த்தையானது, வெள்ளித் தட்டில் வைக்கப்பட்ட பொற்பழங்களைப் போல, தேவனுடைய பார்வையில் அழகாகவும் மதிப்புமிக்கதாகவும் இருக்கிறது.
ஆகையால், நம்முடைய வார்த்தைகள் எப்பொழுதும் பிரியமானதாகவும், ஏற்ற வேளைக்குரியதாகவும், மற்றவர்களைக் கட்டியெழுப்பக்கூடிய ஆவிக்குரிய பக்திவிருத்தியை உண்டாக்குவதாகவும் இருக்கும்படிக்கு, நம்மைத் தமது ஞானத்தினாலும் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவராலும் நிரப்பும்படி நம் பரம பிதாவிடம் கேட்போம்.
சிந்திக்க: என் வார்த்தைகள் கேட்பவர்களுக்குத் தெளிவையும், ஆறுதலையும், பெலனையும் கொண்டுவரும்படி ஆவியானவர் அவற்றை உருவாக்க நான் அனுமதித்து, நான் பேசுவதற்கு முன்பாக தேவனின் வழிகாட்டுதலைத் தேடுகிறேனா?

Psalm 119:46 -states
I will speak of Your testimonies also before kings,
And will not be ashamed.
Psalms 138:3 states -When I called, you answered me
Psalms 118:13 states-I was about to fall but lord helped me.
David’s testimonies of God’s greatness were great acts of worship to God !!
Acts 13:22 states -I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do!!
David pleased God so much that he is called a man after God’s own heart!
Telling of what God has done for you, has a way of stirring up faith in people and encouraging them especially when they are going through the same situation you went through.
