Blog Y3 851 - "Victory in His Power"

Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands. I Samuel 17:47.

King David was not even recognized by his own family. To them, he was just a shepherd boy, sent to care for sheep. Yet, God’s mighty anointing and divine plan were upon his life.

The challenge before David was enormous; Goliath stood as a giant, a terrifying force. But David did not focus on the size of the problem; he trusted in the greatness of his God. The God who was with him is greater than any power in this world.

While his family expected him to remain in the background, tending sheep, God had destined him for something far greater. This shows us a powerful truth:

God often chooses what the world considers small, weak, or insignificant to display His glory.

Our God does not depend on human strength, weapons, or worldly power. He proves again and again that victory comes from Him alone. He raises the overlooked, the rejected, and the humble to accomplish His mighty purposes.

Even today, He continues to work in our lives in the same way.

“Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the Lord.

Let us trust Him fully, for the battle in our lives belongs to the Lord, and He will surely bring victory in His perfect way.

Reflection: Do I place my confidence in His strength rather than the size of my challenges, believing that He can lift me beyond every limitation and bring victory in ways I cannot imagine?

தாவீது ராஜா அவனுடைய சொந்த குடும்பத்தாரால் கூட அங்கீகரிக்கப்படவில்லை. அவர்களைப் பொறுத்தவரை, அவன் ஆடுகளை மேய்க்க அனுப்பப்பட்ட ஒரு சாதாரண சிறுவன் மட்டுமே. ஆனாலும், தேவனுடைய வல்லமையான அபிஷேகமும் தெய்வீகத் திட்டமும் அவனுடைய வாழ்வின் மீது இருந்தது.

தாவீதுக்கு முன்பாக இருந்த சவால் மிகப்பெரியது; கோலியாத் ஒரு அரக்கனாக, ஒரு பயங்கரமான வல்லமையாக நின்றான். ஆனால் தாவீது பிரச்சினையின் அளவைக் கவனிக்கவில்லை; அவன் தன் தேவனின் மகத்துவத்தின் மீது நம்பிக்கை வைத்தான். அவனோடு இருந்த தேவன் இந்த உலகத்தில் உள்ள எந்த வல்லமையையும் விடப் பெரியவர்.

அவன் ஒரு ஓரத்தில் நின்று ஆடுகளை மேய்த்துக்கொண்டிருப்பான் என்று அவனுடைய குடும்பத்தினர் எதிர்பார்த்த நிலையில், தேவன் அவனை மிகப் பெரிய ஒரு காரியத்திற்காக முன்குறித்திருந்தார். இது நமக்கு ஒரு வல்லமையான சத்தியத்தைக் காட்டுகிறது: தமது மகிமையை வெளிப்படுத்த, உலகம் சிறியது, பலவீனமானது அல்லது முக்கியமற்றது என்று கருதுபவற்றையே தேவன் பெரும்பாலும் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கிறார்.

நம்முடைய தேவன் மனித பலத்தையோ, ஆயுதங்களையோ அல்லது உலகத்தின் அதிகாரத்தையோ சார்ந்திருப்பதில்லை. ஜெயமானது தம்மாலே மட்டுமே வருகிறது என்பதை அவர் மீண்டும் மீண்டும் நிரூபிக்கிறார். தமது வல்லமையான நோக்கங்களை நிறைவேற்ற, கவனிக்கப்படாதவர்களையும், நிராகரிக்கப்பட்டவர்களையும், தாழ்மையானவர்களையும் அவர் உயர்த்துகிறார்.

இன்றும், அதே விதமாக அவர் நம்முடைய வாழ்க்கையிலும் தொடர்ந்து கிரியை செய்து வருகிறார்.

"பலத்தினாலும் அல்ல, பராக்கிரமத்தினாலும் அல்ல, என்னுடைய ஆவியினாலேயே ஆகும்" என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

நாம் அவரை முழுமையாக நம்புவோம், ஏனென்றால் நம் வாழ்வில் நடக்கும் யுத்தம் கர்த்தருடையது, அவர் நிச்சயமாகவே தமது பரிபூரண வழியில் நமக்கு ஜெயத்தைத் தருவார்.

சிந்திக்க: ஒவ்வொரு தடைகளையும் தாண்டி என்னை உயர்த்தி, நான் நினைத்துப்பார்க்க முடியாத வழிகளில் அவர் எனக்கு ஜெயத்தைத் தருவார் என்று நான் விசுவாசித்து, எனது சவால்களின் அளவைப் பார்க்காமல், அவருடைய பலத்தின் மீது நான் நம்பிக்கை வைக்கிறேனா?
