And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. James 5:15.
Prayer without faith is like an empty vessel. If we do not have faith, we cannot expect anything from God. Faith in prayer shows that we trust Him to do what we ask.
Our God is the Author and Finisher of our faith. Even the disciples witnessed many miracles that Jesus performed, yet they still asked Him to increase their faith. In some places, miracles could not be done because of unbelief.
If we truly love God, we will eventually come to trust and believe Him, knowing that He is able to do what we ask according to His will. Just like Hannah, who poured out her heart in the presence of God, her face was no longer filled with anxiety afterward. That is the power of faith.
Faith in our prayers can move mountains. That is why Jesus said that nothing will be impossible for those who believe. When we pray with faith, God can heal the sick through the power of the Holy Spirit. Not only can He heal, but He can also restore lives. And if sins have been committed, they will be forgiven.
Reflection: How is your prayer shaping your trust, lifting your heart to believe that His strength can renew the weary, restore the broken, and bring forgiveness where it is needed?
அப்பொழுது விசுவாசமுள்ள ஜெபம் பிணியாளியை இரட்சிக்கும்; கர்த்தர் அவனை எழுப்புவார்; அவன் பாவஞ்செய்தவனானால் அது அவனுக்கு மன்னிக்கப்படும். யாக்கோபு 5:15.
விசுவாசமில்லாத ஜெபம் ஒரு வெற்றுக் கலசத்தைப் போன்றது. நமக்கு விசுவாசம் இல்லாவிட்டால், தேவனிடமிருந்து நாம் எதையும் எதிர்பார்க்க முடியாது. நாம் கேட்பதை அவர் செய்வார் என்று நாம் அவரை நம்புகிறோம் என்பதையே ஜெபத்தில் உள்ள விசுவாசம் காட்டுகிறது.
நம்முடைய தேவன் விசுவாசத்தைத் துவக்குகிறவரும் முடிக்கிறவருமாயிருக்கிறார். இயேசு செய்த பல அற்புதங்களை சீஷர்கள் கண்டிருந்தும், தங்கள் விசுவாசத்தை வர்த்திக்கப்பண்ணும்படியே அவர்கள் அவரிடம் கேட்டார்கள். சில இடங்களில், அவிசுவாசத்தினிமித்தம் அற்புதங்களைச் செய்ய முடியவில்லை.
நாம் தேவனை உண்மையாகவே நேசித்தால், அவருடைய சித்தத்தின்படி நாம் கேட்பதை அவர் செய்ய வல்லவர் என்பதை அறிந்து, நாம் அவரை நம்பவும் விசுவாசிக்கவும் வருவோம். தேவனின் சமூகத்தில் தன் இருதயத்தை ஊற்றி ஜெபித்த அன்னாளைப் போலவே, அதன்பின்பு அவள் முகம் துக்கமாய் இருக்கவில்லை. அதுவே விசுவாசத்தின் வல்லமையாகும்.
நம் ஜெபங்களில் உள்ள விசுவாசம் மலைகளைப் பெயர்க்கும். அதனால்தான், விசுவாசிக்கிறவனுக்கு எல்லாமே கூடும் என்று இயேசு சொன்னார். நாம் விசுவாசத்தோடு ஜெபிக்கும்போது, பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரின் வல்லமையால் தேவன் பிணியாளியைக் குணமாக்க முடியும். அவர் குணமாக்குவது மட்டுமல்லாமல், வாழ்க்கையையும் புதுப்பிக்க முடியும். மேலும் பாவங்கள் செய்யப்பட்டிருந்தால், அவைகள் மன்னிக்கப்படும்.
சிந்திக்க: அவருடைய பலம் சோர்வடைந்தவர்களைப் புதுப்பிக்கவும், உடைந்தவற்றைச் சீர்ப்படுத்தவும், தேவையான இடங்களில் மன்னிப்பைக் கொண்டுவரவும் முடியும் என்று விசுவாசிக்க உங்கள் இருதயத்தை உயர்த்தி, உங்களின் ஜெபம் உங்களுடைய நம்பிக்கையை எவ்வாறு வடிவமைக்கிறது?
God restores ,heals and reconstructs to defend himself and show us his Glory because we all are descendants of Abraham and David ,the Israelites!

God promises to add 15 years to King Hezekiah's life, heal him, and deliver Jerusalem from the king of Assyria, defending the city for His own sake and for David's.
Instead of annililation ,God restores
I will always hope for joy to come,
For trials to pass, for battles won.
But through it all, in loss or gain,
Forever, Lord, I’ll bless Your name.
For our hope is always YOU
Habakkuk 3:17-18
"Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls,
yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will be joyful in God my Savior."
Prophet Habakkuk affirms his belief in sovereignty of the Lord !
Haggai 2:19 states the same promise with affirmation that God indeed fulfills his promises
“I am giving you a promise now while the seed is still in the barn. You have not yet harvested your grain, and your grapevines, fig trees, pomegranates, and olive trees have not yet produced their crops. But from this day onward I will bless you.”
