Blog Y3 857 - "Humbled by God's Nearness"

What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet.” Psalm 8:4, 6

First, we must understand who we are and who God is—the One who created us in His own image. Though the heavenly archangels worship Him with perfect beauty and reverence, He still delights in and longs for our worship.

We are His own. Our Father God has given us the privilege to call Him “Abba, Father.” Even the angels in heaven do not share this intimate relationship. We are but dust, small and fragile, yet deeply loved.

When we truly grasp who God is and who we are, the truth of these verses becomes even more astonishing. The God who is mindful of us (Psalm 8:4) has not only created us but has also entrusted us with responsibility. The dominion mentioned (Psalm 8:6) is not a call to prideful control but to humble stewardship. The same God who formed the heavens has chosen to place aspects of His creation under our care.

Therefore, our dominion is an invitation to live in obedience, to walk in humility, and to honor Him through every responsibility entrusted to us. When we surrender our authority back to Him, our lives become a reflection of His order, His heart, and His glory in the earth.

So let us, at all times, remember Him, thank Him, and give Him all glory.

All glory and honor belong to our Lord God Almighty alone.

Reflection: Am I recognizing the honor of being known by Him, allowing that awareness to shape how I handle the responsibilities He has placed in my life with humility and gratitude?

மனுஷனை நீர் நினைக்கிறதற்கும், மனுஷகுமாரனை நீர் விசாரிக்கிறதற்கும் அவன் எம்மாத்திரம்? உம்முடைய கரத்தின் கிரியைகளின்மேல் நீர் அவனுக்கு ஆளுகை தந்து, சகலத்தையும் அவனுடைய பாதங்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படுத்தினீர். சங்கீதம் 8:4,  6.

முதலில், நாம் யார் என்பதையும், தம்முடைய சொந்த சாயலில் நம்மைப் படைத்த தேவன் யார் என்பதையும் நாம் புரிந்துகொள்ள வேண்டும். பரலோகத்தின் பிரதான தூதர்கள் அவரைப் பூரண அழகோடும் பயபக்தியோடும் ஆராதித்தாலும், அவர் இன்னமும் நம்முடைய ஆராதனையில் பிரியப்பட்டு, அதற்காக ஏங்குகிறார்.

நாம் அவருடையவர்கள். நம் பிதாவாகிய தேவன், அவரை "அப்பா, பிதாவே" என்று அழைக்கும் பாக்கியத்தை நமக்கு அளித்திருக்கிறார். பரலோகத்திலுள்ள தூதர்கள்கூட இந்த நெருக்கமான உறவைப் பகிர்ந்துகொள்வதில்லை. நாம் வெறும் மண்ணானவர்கள், சிறியவர்கள், பலவீனமானவர்கள், ஆனாலும் ஆழமாக நேசிக்கப்படுகிறோம்.

தேவன் யார், நாம் யார் என்பதை நாம் உண்மையாகவே உணர்ந்துகொள்ளும்போது, இந்த வசனங்களின் சத்தியம் இன்னும் அதிக ஆச்சரியமளிப்பதாக மாறுகிறது. நம்மை நினைக்கிற தேவன் (சங்கீதம் 8:4) நம்மைப் படைத்தது மட்டுமல்லாமல், நம்மிடம் பொறுப்பையும் ஒப்படைத்திருக்கிறார். இதில் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ள ஆளுகை (சங்கீதம் 8:6) என்பது பெருமையான கட்டுப்பாட்டிற்கான அழைப்பல்ல, மாறாகத் தாழ்மையான உக்கிராணத்துவத்திற்கான (stewardship) அழைப்பாகும். வானங்களை உருவாக்கின அதே தேவன், தமது சிருஷ்டிப்பின் சில பகுதிகளை நம்முடைய பராமரிப்பின்கீழ் வைக்கச் சித்தங்கொண்டார்.

ஆகையால், நம்முடைய ஆளுகை என்பது கீழ்ப்படிதலில் வாழவும், தாழ்மையுடன் நடக்கவும், நம்மிடம் ஒப்படைக்கப்பட்ட ஒவ்வொரு பொறுப்பின் மூலமாகவும் அவரைக் கனப்படுத்தவும் விடுக்கப்பட்ட ஒரு அழைப்பாகும். நாம் நமது அதிகாரத்தை மீண்டும் அவரிடமே ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கும்போது, நமது வாழ்க்கையானது பூமியில் அவருடைய ஒழுங்கையும், அவருடைய இருதயத்தையும், அவருடைய மகிமையையும் பிரதிபலிப்பதாக மாறுகிறது.

எனவே, எல்லா நேரங்களிலும் நாம் அவரை நினைத்து, அவருக்கு நன்றி செலுத்தி, எல்லா மகிமையையும் அவருக்கே செலுத்துவோம்.

சகல மகிமையும் கனமும் சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய தேவனுக்கே உரியது.

சிந்திக்க: என் வாழ்க்கையில் தேவன் எனக்குப் பொறுப்பாக ஒப்படைத்தவற்றைத் தாழ்மையுடனும் நன்றியுடனும் நடத்தும் விதத்தை வடிவமைக்க அனுமதித்து, அவர் என்னை அறிந்திருக்கிறார் என்ற அந்த மகிமையை நான் உணர்கிறேனா?
