Blog Y3 879 - "Living by His Standards"

Mercy and truth have met together; Righteousness and peace have kissed. Psalms 85:10.

Mercy is deeply connected with love. When God’s love flows through our hearts with faithfulness and sincerity, mercy naturally begins to flow from us as well. True love is genuine; it comes from a pure heart, not from outward appearance or empty words. When we walk in God’s steadfast love and truth, they remain united and inseparable.

This verse beautifully reveals the character of God: His mercy and truth meet together perfectly. God is loving, yet truthful; compassionate, yet holy. In Him, grace and truth are never separated.

The verse also says, “Righteousness and peace have kissed.” Wherever righteousness reigns, peace will follow. But when righteousness is lost, confusion, injustice, and chaos begin to rise. When a king, leader, or nation rules with righteousness, the people live in peace, safety, and joy. That is why righteousness and peace are described as “kissing” each other; they walk hand in hand.

The same is true in our personal lives. When we live according to God’s righteousness, His peace fills our hearts, families, and surroundings. True peace does not come from wealth, power, or comfort; it comes from living rightly before God.

May the Lord help us to walk in His mercy, truth, righteousness, and peace every day.

Reflection: Am I allowing God’s nature to shape my responses as I seek to live with a heart that reflects His purity and invites His peace into every part of my life?

கிருபையும் சத்தியமும் ஒன்றையொன்று சந்திக்கும், நீதியும் சமாதானமும் ஒன்றையொன்று முத்தஞ்செய்யும். சங்கீதம் 85:10.

இரக்கமானது அன்போடு ஆழமாக இணைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. தேவனுடைய அன்பு உண்மையோடும் நேர்மையோடும் நம் இருதயங்களில் பாயும்போது, இரக்கமும் இயற்கையாகவே நம்மிடமிருந்து வெளிப்படத் தொடங்குகிறது. உண்மையான அன்பு கலப்படமற்றது; அது வெளிப்புறத் தோற்றத்திலிருந்தோ அல்லது வெற்று வார்த்தைகளிலிருந்தோ அல்ல, மாறாக தூய்மையான இருதயத்திலிருந்தே உருவாகிறது. நாம் தேவனுடைய மாறாத அன்பிலும் சத்தியத்திலும் நடக்கும்போது, அவை ஒன்றிணைந்தும் பிரிக்க முடியாததாகவும் நிலைத்திருக்கின்றன.

இந்த வசனம் தேவனுடைய சுபாவத்தை அழகாக வெளிப்படுத்துகிறது: அவருடைய இரக்கமும் சத்தியமும் பரிபூரணமாக ஒன்றையொன்று சந்திக்கின்றன. தேவன் அன்பானவர், அதே சமயம் சத்தியமுள்ளவர்; மனதுருக்கமுள்ளவர், ஆயினும் பரிசுத்தமானவர். அவரில் கிருபையும் சத்தியமும் ஒருபோதும் பிரிக்கப்படுவதில்லை.

"நீதியும் சமாதானமும் முத்தஞ்செய்தது" என்றும் இந்த வசனம் கூறுகிறது. எங்கு நீதி ஆட்சி செய்கிறதோ, அங்கு சமாதானம் தொடரும். ஆனால் நீதி தவறும்போது குழப்பமும், அநீதியும், சீர்குலைவும் மேலோங்கத் தொடங்குகின்றன. ஒரு ராஜா, தலைவர் அல்லது தேசம் நீதியுடன் ஆட்சி செய்யும்போது, மக்கள் சமாதானத்தோடும், பாதுகாப்போடும், மகிழ்ச்சியோடும் வாழ்கிறார்கள். அதனால்தான் நீதியும் சமாதானமும் ஒன்றையொன்று "முத்தமிடுவதாக" வர்ணிக்கப்படுகின்றன; அவை இரண்டும் கைகோர்த்து நடக்கின்றன.

இது நமது தனிப்பட்ட வாழ்விற்கும் முற்றிலும் பொருந்தும். தேவனுடைய நீதிக்கு ஏற்ப நாம் வாழும்போது, அவருடைய சமாதானம் நம் இருதயங்களையும், குடும்பங்களையும், சுற்றுப்புறங்களையும் நிரப்புகிறது. உண்மையான சமாதானம் செல்வம், அதிகாரம் அல்லது உலக வசதிகளிலிருந்து வருவதில்லை; அது தேவனுக்கு முன்பாக நீதியாய் வாழ்வதிலிருந்தே வருகிறது.

ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் அவருடைய இரக்கம், சத்தியம், நீதி மற்றும் சமாதானத்தில் நடக்க கர்த்தர் தாமே நமக்கு உதவுவாராக.

சிந்திக்க: தேவனுடைய தூய்மையை பிரதிபலித்து என் வாழ்வின் ஒவ்வொரு பகுதியிலும் அவருடைய சமாதானத்தை விரும்பும் இருதயத்தோடு வாழ நான் முற்படுகையில், என் பதில்களை தேவனுடைய இயல்பு வடிவமைக்க நான் அனுமதிக்கிறேனா?
