Blog Y3 891 - "Resting in His True Peace"

Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all. 2 Thessalonians 3:16.

Our God has many wonderful names, and among them, “God of Peace” is one of the most beautiful names for this troubled and imperfect world.

This verse speaks personally to each one of us. At times, we lose our peace without even knowing the reason. At other times, the enemy tries to disturb and steal the peace that God has given us. Yet, we have a Heavenly Father whose very nature is peace. *The Prince of Peace is not only with us, He lives within us*.

Our God is the One who gives us peace in our hearts at all times. His peace is unshakable and enduring. Nothing and no one can take away the peace that He gives. Even in the midst of chaos, confusion, and uncertainty, His divine peace rules and guards our hearts.

This peace does not come from worldly pleasures, possessions, or circumstances. It is His peace, a heavenly gift, a divine peace. Jesus Himself said that He does not give peace as the world gives. The world’s peace is temporary and dependent on circumstances, but God’s peace is lasting and eternal.

Reflection: Have you opened your heart to the lasting peace God gives, allowing His presence to steady you when life feels unsettled and circumstances shift around you?

சமாதானத்தின் கர்த்தர்தாமே எப்பொழுதும் சகலவிதத்திலும் உங்களுக்குச் சமாதானத்தைத் தந்தருளுவாராக. கர்த்தர் உங்களனைவரோடுங்கூட இருப்பாராக. 2 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 3:16.

நம்முடைய தேவனுக்கு பல அற்புதமான பெயர்கள் உண்டு, அவற்றுள், இந்த கலக்கமுற்ற, குறைபாடுகள் நிறைந்த உலகிற்கு "சமாதானத்தின் தேவன்" என்பது மிகவும் அழகான பெயர்களில் ஒன்றாகும்.

இந்த வசனம் நம் ஒவ்வொருவரிடமும் தனிப்பட்ட முறையில் பேசுகிறது. சில நேரங்களில், காரணம் கூட தெரியாமல் நாம் நம் சமாதானத்தை இழந்துவிடுகிறோம். வேறு சில நேரங்களில், தேவன் நமக்குத் தந்த சமாதானத்தைக் குலைத்து, அதைத் திருட எதிரியானவன் முயல்கிறான். இருப்பினும், சமாதானத்தையே தனது சுபாவமாகக் கொண்ட ஒரு பரலோகப் பிதா நமக்கு இருக்கிறார். சமாதானப் பிரபு நம்முடன் இருப்பது மட்டுமல்லாமல், அவர் நமக்குள்ளும் வாழ்கிறார்.

நம்முடைய தேவன் எல்லா நேரங்களிலும் நம் இருதயங்களில் சமாதானத்தைத் தருகிறவராயிருக்கிறார். அவருடைய சமாதானம் அசைக்க முடியாததும் நிலைத்திருப்பதுமாகும். அவர் கொடுக்கும் சமாதானத்தை எதுவும், யாரும் நம்மிடமிருந்து பறிக்க முடியாது. குழப்பம், கலக்கம் மற்றும் நிச்சயமற்ற சூழ்நிலைகளின் மத்தியிலும், அவருடைய தெய்வீக சமாதானம் நம் இருதயங்களை ஆளுகை செய்து பாதுகாக்கிறது.

இந்தச் சமாதானம் உலக இன்பங்களிலிருந்தோ, சொத்துக்களிலிருந்தோ அல்லது சூழ்நிலைகளிலிருந்தோ வருவதில்லை. இது அவருடைய சமாதானம், ஒரு பரலோகப் பரிசு, ஒரு தெய்வீக சமாதானம். உலகம் கொடுக்கிறது போல தாம் சமாதானத்தைக் கொடுப்பதில்லை என்று இயேசுவே சொல்லியிருக்கிறார். உலகத்தின் சமாதானம் தற்காலிகமானது மற்றும் சூழ்நிலைகளைச் சார்ந்தது, ஆனால் தேவனுடைய சமாதானமோ நிலையானது மற்றும் நித்தியமானது.

சிந்திக்க: வாழ்க்கை நிலையற்றதாகத் தோன்றி, உங்களைச் சுற்றியுள்ள சூழ்நிலைகள் மாறும்போது, தேவனுடைய பிரசன்னம் உங்களை நிலைநிறுத்தும்படி, அவர் தரும் நிலையான சமாதானத்திற்கு உங்கள் இருதயத்தைத் திறந்து கொடுத்திருக்கிறீர்களா?
