Blog Y3 892 - "Guarded by His Mighty Presence"

You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. Psalms 91:5–6.

This is a beautiful confession for the days we are living in. Wherever we go, and even when we stay at home, we need God’s protection from everything around us. Nothing is truly in our control, but everything is in God’s control. He sees all things clearly, even the hidden plans and strategies of the enemy. We are the cherished ones before Him, and nothing can touch us without His permission.

Morning, daytime, noon, or the darkest hours of the night, even in the moments we cannot see or understand, our God promises that He will never remove His protection from us. Terror, pestilence, destruction, none of these can come near us.

For that, there are some simple conditions:
We must come under the shadow of His wings.
We must hide in the secret place of the Most High.

This means choosing to remain in His presence, trusting Him completely, and dwelling close to His heart.

When we stay under His covering, His protection surrounds us at all times.

Reflection: Are you standing under God’s covering with unwavering faith, trusting that no hidden threat can reach you while you remain close to Him?

இரவில் உண்டாகும் பயங்கரத்துக்கும், பகலில் பறக்கும் அம்புக்கும், இருளில் நடமாடும் கொள்ளைநோய்க்கும், மத்தியானத்தில் பாழாக்கும் சங்காரத்துக்கும் பயப்படாதிருப்பாய். சங்கீதம் 91:5-6.

நாம் வாழ்ந்து கொண்டிருக்கும் இந்த நாட்களுக்கு இது ஒரு அழகான விசுவாச அறிக்கை ஆகும். நாம் எங்கு சென்றாலும், ஏன், வீட்டில் இருக்கும்போது கூட, நம்மைச் சுற்றியுள்ள எல்லாவற்றிலிருந்தும் தேவனுடைய பாதுகாப்பு நமக்குத் தேவைப்படுகிறது. எதுவும் உண்மையில் நம் கட்டுப்பாட்டில் இல்லை, ஆனால் அனைத்தும் தேவனுடைய கட்டுப்பாட்டில் உள்ளது. எதிரியின் மறைவான திட்டங்களையும் தந்திரங்களையும் கூட அவர் தெளிவாகக் காண்கிறார். நாம் அவருக்கு முன்பாக மிகவும் பிரியமானவர்களாய் இருக்கிறோம், அவருடைய அனுமதியின்றி எதுவும் நம்மைத் தொட முடியாது.

காலை, பகல், மத்தியானம் அல்லது இரவின் மிக இருண்ட நேரங்கள் என, நம்மால் பார்க்கவோ புரிந்துகொள்ளவோ முடியாத தருணங்களில் கூட, நம்முடைய தேவன் தமது பாதுகாப்பை நம்மிடமிருந்து ஒருபோதும் நீக்கமாட்டார் என்று வாக்குறுதி அளிக்கிறார். பயங்கரம், கொள்ளைநோய், அழிவு என எதுவுமே நம்மை நெருங்க முடியாது.

அதற்கு, சில எளிய நிபந்தனைகள் உள்ளன:
நாம் அவருடைய செட்டைகளின் நிழலின் கீழ் வர வேண்டும்.
உன்னதமானவருடைய மறைவிடத்தில் நாம் தஞ்சம் புக வேண்டும்.

இதன் பொருள், அவருடைய பிரசன்னத்தில் நிலைத்திருக்கவும், அவரை முழுமையாக நம்பவும், அவருடைய இருதயத்திற்கு நெருக்கமாக வாழவும் நாம் தெரிந்தெடுக்க வேண்டும் என்பதாகும்.

நாம் அவருடைய பாதுகாப்பின் கீழ் இருக்கும்போது, அவருடைய பாதுகாப்பு எல்லா நேரங்களிலும் நம்மைச் சூழ்ந்திருக்கும்.

சிந்திக்க: நீங்கள் தேவனுக்கு நெருக்கமாக இருக்கும்போது எந்தவொரு மறைமுகமான ஆபத்தும் உங்களை அணுக முடியாது என்பதை முழுமையாக நம்பி, அசைக்க முடியாத விசுவாசத்துடன் அவருடைய பாதுகாப்பின் கீழ் நிற்கிறீர்களா?
