Blog Y3 902 - "Work that Reflects His Heart"

And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men. Colossians 3:23.

Some actions we do automatically, without giving much thought to what is in our hearts. Some things we do under pressure from others, while some others are done simply to please people. However, God has placed each of us in a specific position and place for a purpose. Whatever we do, we have to glorify and magnify Him alone.

Our Heavenly Father never places His children anywhere without a divine purpose. Therefore, whatever we do, whether people are watching us or not, we should always remember that God is watching over us. He sees not only our actions but also the motives behind them.

Our lives should reflect the character of God our Father. Unlike man, God does not judge by outward appearance; He looks at the heart. Therefore, in all that we do, let our desire be to please our Heavenly Father alone.

May every word we speak, every action we take, and every responsibility we carry be done wholeheartedly as an act of worship unto the Lord, bringing glory to His holy name. 

Reflection: Am I giving my best in all things, aiming to please God alone rather than seeking approval from people?

எதைச் செய்தாலும், அதை மனுஷர்களுக்கென்று செய்யாமல், கர்த்தருக்கென்றே மனப்பூர்வமாய்ச் செய்யுங்கள். கொலோசெயர் 3:24.

சில செயல்களை நம் இருதயத்தில் என்ன இருக்கிறது என்பதைப் பற்றி அதிகம் யோசிக்காமல், நாம் இயந்திரத்தனமாகச் செய்கிறோம். சில காரியங்களை மற்றவர்களின் வற்புறுத்தலினாலும், இன்னும் சிலவற்றை மனிதர்களைப் பிரியப்படுத்துவதற்காகவுமே செய்கிறோம். இருப்பினும், தேவன் நம் ஒவ்வொருவரையும் ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட நோக்கத்திற்காக ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட நிலையிலும் இடத்திலும் வைத்திருக்கிறார். நாம் என்ன செய்தாலும், நாம் அவரை மட்டுமே மகிமைப்படுத்தவும் உயர்த்தவும் வேண்டும்.

நம்முடைய பரலோகப் பிதா ஒருபோதும் தமது பிள்ளைகளை ஒரு தெய்வீக நோக்கமின்றி எங்கும் வைப்பதில்லை. எனவே, நாம் என்ன செய்தாலும், மனிதர்கள் நம்மைப் பார்க்கிறார்களோ இல்லையோ, தேவன் நம்மைப் பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார் என்பதை நாம் எப்போதும் நினைவில் கொள்ள வேண்டும். அவர் நம்முடைய செயல்களை மட்டுமல்ல, அவற்றின் பின்னணியில் உள்ள நோக்கங்களையும் காண்கிறார்.

நம்முடைய வாழ்க்கை நம் பிதாவாகிய தேவனுடைய குணாதிசயத்தைப் பிரதிபலிக்க வேண்டும். மனிதனைப் போலல்லாமல், தேவன் வெளிப்புறத் தோற்றத்தைப் பார்த்து நியாயந்தீர்ப்பதில்லை; அவர் இருதயத்தைப் பார்க்கிறார். எனவே, நாம் செய்யும் எல்லாவற்றிலும், நம்முடைய பரலோகப் பிதாவை மட்டுமே பிரியப்படுத்துவதே நம்முடைய விருப்பமாக இருக்கட்டும்.

நாம் பேசும் ஒவ்வொரு வார்த்தையும், நாம் செய்யும் ஒவ்வொரு செயலும், நமக்குக்  கொடுக்கப்பட்ட  ஒவ்வொரு பொறுப்பையும் கர்த்தருக்குச் செய்யும் ஒரு ஆராதனையாக முழு இருதயத்தோடு செய்து, அவருடைய பரிசுத்த நாமத்திற்கு மகிமையைக் கொண்டுவரவேண்டும்.

சிந்திக்க: மனிதர்களிடம் அங்கீகாரத்தைத் தேடாமல், தேவனை மட்டுமே பிரியப்படுத்துவதை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டு, எல்லா காரியங்களிலும் நான் என் சிறந்ததைக் கொடுக்கிறேனா?
